5 stars in all categories! The view is amazing not to capture with pictures. Everything very modern but still cozy. There are little tourist offers in the vicinity, but you can visit different shopping and gastronomic offers within a short time with a car. I enjoyed the view from the property so much that I was hardly on the road. Of course, those who want to can also go hiking in the directly adjacent nature. The cottage is superbly equipped, we lacked nothing there. The hosts are very courteous and always respond promptly. We were lucky with the weather and had just under 19 hours of sun every day - but the view will have its own charm in every season. Overall there is nothing to complain about, we enjoyed our break very much and would come back anytime!

Cabin was super nice and cozy. The view was great, especially outdoor breakfast and BBQ on the the terrace we enjoyed the most. We also loved close proximity to the water and hiking trails nearby. We highly recommend the place and will gladly come back.

We booked this place in the last minute and so lucky it was available. Amazing isolated space on the country side. Great overnight stop or for couple of days to spend peaceful time. Hosts are responsive and very helpful!

We came to Norway to visit for a month. We were excited, but that pales in comparison to the experience we had with Richard. We didn’t know what we were in for! We stayed in his beautiful family home, with a magnificent garden and spectacular views. Richard’s house that his Dad built is sparkling clean and well cared for. The area is ideal. Richard took us on an unforgettable hike to the summit of the mountain. He kindly fielded the questions we peppered him with. At the summit of the mountain we had a delicious local meal grilled in the open air kettle with coffee made with water straight from the lake.
