Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Heel mooi huisje. Rustig gelegen met een mooi uitzicht en smaakvol ingericht. We hebben veel gefietst in de Utrechtse Heuvelrug maar ook langs de Nederrijn. En leuke stadjes bezocht zoals Wijk bij Duurstede en Rhenen.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit einem wirklich schönem Haus. Wir konnten netterweise auch den Garten nutzen. Das alte Haus hat einen ganz eigenen Charme und ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt- nicht zuletzt durch Kater Henk. Sandy und Martijn waren für uns gut erreichbar und gaben uns prima Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend. Danke!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem sehr schönen Ferienhaus. Es gibt ein sehr geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit guter Küche, zwei Schlafzimmer und eine weitere Schlafgelegenheit im Wohnzimmer… Das Haus ist auch gut für kleine Kinder, es gibt zwar eine Treppe aber die führt nur zu Stauraum sodass man keine Treppensicherung braucht. Außerdem gibt es ein bisschen Spielzeug, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Besonders schön ist der Garten und die Umgebung, man kann direkt vom Haus aus tolle Wanderungen durch den Wald machen. Einziges Manko (die Vermieter schreiben es aber auch in der Infobroschüre die im Haus liegt) ist, dass es im Garten wahnsinnig viele Zecken gibt, wir waren nur eine Stunde im Gras und mussten zwei Zecken an uns entfernen - aber da kann natürlich keiner was dafür.

We had a wonderful stay at Bart and Carole's guest house. They were very warm and welcoming and really happy we were there. They were very reachable if had questions or issues. They even arranged a full cleaning half way through our stay for a fee for the cleaner. The unit was perfect for us, a party of two, for three weeks, a home away from home. It was walkable to shopping, dining, and the grocery store, great location. When we come back to the Netherlands we will be checking on the availability of this wonderful home.

Samen met mijn vriendin hier drie nachten geslapen. De communicatie met Lydia was super, in overleg konden we zelfs eerder inchecken en wat later uitchecken. Het huisje was klein, maar zeker super fijn voor met z’n tweetjes. Van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals afwasspullen, koffie, thee en genoeg servies. Wij zouden deze plek zeker aanraden.

it was a very nice experience with my friend. We stayed for two nights. The place was easy to find, clean and with all the equipment that we needed. Frank was very friendly. He offered us a welcome drink and snacks, and checked with us whether everything was okay from time to time. The neighbourhood was also very friendly! We had a flat tire when we were 3min-drive away, many people passing by stopped and offered to help. Overall, we would choose this place again the next time we go to the Nederland. :)

Die Kommunikation mit Elise war sehr gut und das Haus war genau wie auf den Bildern. Ich fühlte mich sofort sehr wohl und der Garten war sehr privat. Man war umringt von hohen Büschen und Bäumen und man konnte wirklich viele Vögel an der Futterstelle beobachten. Vom Hauptparkplatz aus läuft man nur 3 Minuten bis zum Grundstück. Vorne am Haupteingang ist auch ein Restaurant, wo man sehr freundlich bedient wird und die Auswahl an Essen und Getränken ist auch sehr gut. Das Bett war sehr bequem, die Küche gut ausgestattet und es gab eine Filterkaffeemaschine. In den Schlafzimmern sind Mückengitter an den Fenstern, was in wärmeren Nächten bei offenem Fenster sehr gut ist. Im Hauptschlafzimmer gibt es auch eine Klimaanlage. Alles in Allem...Ich würde wieder bei Elise buchen.

Notre séjour chez Wilma c'est très bien passé. La petite maisonnette nous convenait parfaitement, avec une vue sur les champs et animaux comme les chevaux, vaches... Très paisible, avec une piscine, trampolines, les enfants ont adorés le jardin! Wilma et sa famille sont très gentilles, accessibles. Je recommande fortement pour les gens qui aiment la tranquillité.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment on the water gave us the full Utrecht vibes we were looking for on our visit. It was right in the middle of everything, super easy to explore, and made us feel like part of the Utrecht scene. Watching the boats in the evening was a major highlight of our trip. My whole family agreed, we would love to go back and stay there!

Ontzettend leuk appartementje aan een gezellig pleintje in het centrum van Amersfoort. Op loopafstand genoeg restaurants en cafeetjes en bezienswaardigheden. de ruimte is niet groot maar heel handig ingericht. Goede bedden en een goede douche. Zeker een aanrader

Dieser Ort ist zauberhaft! Wir haben die Tage in dem so hübsch eingerichteten Dachgeschoss und den Tieren im Garten rundum genossen. Unsere Tochter (knapp 2 Jahre alt) hat das Spielen im Garten und das Tiere streicheln so geliebt. Wir haben uns wie in Bullerbü gefühlt! Mirjam stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, hat jeden Tag ein frisches, super leckeres Frühstück für uns vorbereitet und uns Fahrräder geliehen. :-) Ganz große Empfehlung!!

Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables dans le très bel appartement de Diederick. Beaucoup d’espaces, de cachet, belle hauteur de plafond. 2 balcons également très sympas. Literie confortable, nombreux équipements. A la différence des appartements dédiés uniquement à la location, nous étions dans l’appartement d’un producteur de musique avec de nombreux instruments. L’appartement était proche du centre d’Utrecht, belle petite ville animée.

We hebben zó genoten van ons verblijf! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en voelt heel luxe aan. De keuken is ruim en volledig uitgerust – we hebben er met veel plezier gekookt. Ook de douche en het hele huis zijn comfortabel en ruim opgezet. Het uitzicht op het groen was echt fantastisch. Je komt meteen tot rust. Elke ochtend en vaak in de avond maakten we een wandeling door het mooie bos met bijzondere vogels en herten. De host was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Altijd in voor een praatje en we vonden het erg gezellig. Als we iets lekker vonden ruiken, kregen we spontaan iets te proeven, zo lief en attent! Kortom: dit is een absolute aanrader, of je nu een paar dagen of langer wilt verblijven. We komen hier graag nog eens terug.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Wauw wat een heerlijke rustieke locatie. Alles was brandschoon, sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De rust, groene omgeving en privacy hebben ons enorm goed gedaan. Het zwembad was een zaligheid en voelde als een ware welness beleving. Maarten was een zeer sympathieke host. We gaan zeker nog vaker terugkomen!

The apartment was lovely and cozy, with plenty of useful amenities that made our stay comfortable. The host was very kind and responsive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the place was clean and well-maintained, though the bedsheets could use a refresh. The beds are very soft (something to keep in mind depending on your preference). Despite these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle und erholsame Zeit in Reckum – und das vor allem dank des großartigen Hosts! Schon beim Check-in wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Unser Host war durchweg sympathisch, unglaublich geduldig und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Egal ob es um Tipps für die Umgebung, kleine Anliegen oder spontane Fragen ging – er hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und eine Lösung parat. Seine Kompetenz und Gelassenheit haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Dank ihm konnten wir die Zeit in Reckum in vollen Zügen genießen. Wir können die Unterkunft und vor allem den Host nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen – wir kommen gerne wieder!

The apartment is in a great, vibrant neighborhood only minutes from the downtown. It is spacious with plenty of light. Rein is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Maike was very accessible, the flat is very nice and accessible from the center and very closed to the train station. we highly recommand this stay

Lisette’s apartment was perfect for our needs. Everything was as described. Easy access to station, AH, and a quick walk to city centre. Definitely would stay again.

We loved everything about ok Linda's place. The apartment is bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The space isn't big but it feels roomy and comfortable because of how well it's organized. The building is beautiful and in a wonderful quiet location with a very short walk to everything in the old city. Linda was amazingly helpful with recommendations, and she helped us plan some local travel and navigate the train strike. Absolutely lovely experience all around.

Das allerbeste war der private Garten ( zu unserer alleinigen Nutzung), Connys Hühner, das Frühstück im Garten, die Feuerschale und Connys freundliche Betreuung. Als wir ihr erzählten , das es in Restaurant sehr teuer ist, hat sie uns ein Menü im Garten serviert, köstlich! Wir hätten es uns nicht schöner und besser wünschen können.

We were very happy with our stay. The place is spacious and extremely well located—perfect for exploring the area. The host communicated clearly and shared helpful information, which made everything easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

The accommodation is not very soundproof, you have to be very careful with the sound, but overall it was worth it for our activity
