Hotel Diuwak was a great stay. The location is superb and walking distance to Dominical beach and restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the included breakfast and the beautiful pool. The beds were comfy too. Perfect stay for our family of four.

Love the place! Monkeys right outside the window, ocean views and surrounded by jungle. The house is a large 1 bedroom with a large living room with cozy big couch, balcony off of the living room and big bedroom and bathroom. Everything we needed and more so will definitely keep it at the top of our list for another visit - very soon I hope.

Great little spot by the beach, the gated driveway is kind of narrow so be careful!

Paz was a lovely host, and her friend Marc who was on the property could not have been more helpful, kind, and just great energy! The home they have built is a dream, and the location, near San Isidro is a super cute, local, authentic feeling Costa Rican pueblito. The river is absolutely gorgeous, but note, that you do have to cross a zipline to get to the nearest market! It's a little scary but so much fun!

We loved staying in this house. If you love silence, this option may not be suitable because the house is near a road with heavy traffic. We had access to everything we could need for a comfortable stay, the internet only worked outdoors. Recommended.

This place is absolute heaven! The view from the balcony is to die for and my children loved the pool. Everything was just perfect, the house is amazing and the decor is really stunning. We spent a month here and it was one of the best months of our lives. Dominicalito is out of this world - jungle and beach!!! My daughter went surfing everyday and there is local football for my son. The surrounding area means you can scuba dive, horse ride along the beach and there is a stunning waterfall 5 min walk. I ran on the beautiful beach everyday and the locals were just fabulous inviting us to the local Kareoke on the beach 🏖️ the host was so helpful and we had no problems as everything ran smoothly in the house. Security is so professional Nd checks everyone in and out. We didn’t have a car and found walking really invigorating - especially up the hill. If you love nature you couldn’t ask for more - watch the monkeys at breakfast from the balcony - thanks so much for this epic adventure ❤️

Beautiful place! So serene in the middle of a national park. We enjoyed taking a stroll down to the beach every day, looking for wildlife and ultimately relaxing. The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed! The area had a lot to offer and we checked out some of places recommended to us which we enjoyed. This area has a lot to offer without feeling touristy.

This place is SO MUCH nicer than what's allowed in the photos. Our host was very welcoming and communication was easy. The unit is right in the middle of the jungle, so we had all kinds of interesting and photo-worthy wild passersby. Despite being in a condominium the property seemed to have the right amount of isolation and privacy. And the beach !!!!, almost lonely, you arrive on a trail that you enter peace of mind to relax, I went with my 4 month old baby and it was very easy to access the baby car to the beach, you will find a lot of shade under the lush trees, which helped keep cool and a good rest from my baby. There are many restaurants in the area, and if you don't want to go out by a supermarket and shopping to prepare your meals, the kitchen is fully stocked, or you can walk on the beach at Villa Eleonor a local restaurant, arrive on time because it takes a little time to serve the food, We'll be back soon

As others have stated, the pictures really don't do this place justice! You have both a private pool and relaxing balcony, along with a beautiful beach beckoning through the trees. It was the perfect place for our family of five to unwind. Each kid got their own bed upstairs while mom and dad had some privacy downstairs. Gregory was extremely helpful with friendly advice, local recommendations and was even willing to lend us a machete to open up coconuts. Our daughter enjoyed walking down the beach to the surf camps where she took a lesson, although I would recommend some good sandals or water shoes for the pebbled areas that are unavoidable at high tide. I would caution swimmers to be very careful at low tide -- we got caught in a strong current pulling us towards some scary rocks. I'd recommend swimming at high tide or further down the beach. Overall a spectacular stay at a rare find right on the beach. And Gregory was great host.

Perfect, so I would summarize my experience, excellent hosts, friendly, always in communication, attentive, helpful, among others very good qualities. The place is wonderful, private, safe, with an incredible air of peace, very close to everything you need (supermarkets, restaurants, beaches). The house is very beautiful, spacious, tidy, full air, fully equipped, nothing more to ask for. Geizel and her husband's recommendations, super accurate, matapalo beach and Linda are beautiful, Dominical has an excellent atmosphere, the restaurant la Langoza Feliz 10/10, and so many that didn't give us time, but we'll be back very soon. In short, it is a place that far exceeded my expectations, mega recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a nice stay. The apartment has everything you need to stay there for a few days and the large swimming pool is really an added luxury. The beach and several restuarants are in walking distance. It can get very hot.

The place is just like one in the photographs. Magda's service is impeccable. Very attentive. She let us in a little earlier and gave us important help with local merchant. Thank you Magda!!

The phidgie lodge was was cozy and charming. We enjoyed the simplicity of our bungalow and really embracing the Costa Rican motto of 'pura vida'. The pool area is breathtaking and we spent many days and nights out there. There are so many unique and beautiful plants out there, looking up the sky at any time of day (or night) is so gorgeous and the way you are nestled within the plants really give you private view. Our favorite part was the view of it all with the full moon one night - it was a gorgeous scene. Oliver and Isabelle were great communicative hosts, took great care of us, and kept the property well upkeep and clean every day. They also had great recommendations of activities and helped us book excursions. If you like snorkeling and get the chance to go on the snorkeling tour at cano island with la perla del sur, do it! We're so glad Isabelle and Oliver recommended it to us. Oliver is also a very friendly and funny host with tons of stories, make sure you chat with him a bit too when you stay!

Everything is exactly as the pictures show. Only downfall was only a/c in the bedrooms. The extra pullout couch/bed in loft did not have a/c so we moved the mattress into the floor of room and used the loft area as a place to keep bags/clothes. No a/c in the bathrooms either was caused for us Americans to be less comfortable. Everything else was beautiful and the hosts were very quick to respond

From the moment we arrived, Greg and Lisa made us feel completely at home with their warmth and hospitality. Our first impression of Beachhouse Incognito truly took our breath away—the stunning pool, with the sound and sight of waves crashing just beyond, set the perfect tone. The bungalow was exactly what we hoped for: cool, cozy, and inviting. But the real magic happened on the porch, where we sipped our morning coffee and watched a parade of wildlife—iguanas, coatis, agoutis, hummingbirds, and so many lizards. Evenings brought more delight as we grilled our dinners by the pool and spotted bats flitting overhead. At night, thunderstorms rolled in, making everything feel even more magical. Most of our days were spent floating in the pool and simply relaxing, but we also loved exploring the local culture of Dominical. Highlights included ceviche at Fuego Brewery, outstanding chicken wings at Jolly Roger Bar, and spotting capuchin monkeys at La Parcela. We can’t wait to come back!

Right next to the beach, but you will have to pay park entrance every day. House was much better than expected, A/C was a huge perk for the cost! Highly recommend!!

**A truly special stay near the Whale Tail!** Our time at Ibiza Tropical was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely owners, Montse and Eddie, who live on the property and bring a genuine energy to the space. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped — everything felt thoughtful and intentional, and we really enjoyed the cozy patio — perfect for birdwatching (including macaws!) and listening to tropical rainstorms. The small on-site restaurant added to the charm, and the location was ideal: just steps from the beach and close to great local spots. Safe, peaceful, and truly special!

We had a really lovely stay! The place was clean, modern, and exactly as described. The pool was a highlight—absolutely beautiful and surprisingly quiet, which made it perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on in the evenings. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Marlene's apartment is very nice, spacious and was spotless. The balcony with table and chairs was a luxury, our place to sit at the end of the day and listen to nature or the rain. We use the washing machine perfectly and the pool is very close. The rooms were very complete, the bathroom with towels, shampoo, hair dryer, ten!! The only thing to note is the location, no markets so close and only a restaurant next door, if you are with a vehicle they can get everywhere in 5 minutes but on foot maybe it gets a little uncomfortable. Everything else is very good, recommended!!

we absolutely loved our stay. location couldn't have been better if you are a beach person who loves super easy access to the beach, long walks at low tide, surfing, being in the water. The jungle was delightful. we saw macaws and monkeys. The rain helped us fall asleep at night. we slept better than we have and a very long time. we loved our stay. it was walkable to many things including where we rented our surfboards. highly recommend. hopefully we will be back because we loved it that much. we loved her parents who were very generous and kind, occasionally opening a coconut for us or providing a home-cooked meal. Thank you for a wonderful stay. everything about it was fabulous.

Terrific location. Right on the beach. A 5 minute (or less) walk to Playa Arcos which is in my opinion the best beach in the area (just note you can only access in low tide). The house itself has 3 bedrooms all with own bathrooms which come in handy with a group. Very clean. Airy. Has all you need. Easy driving distance to Uvita (all shops and restaurants). Just note that the dirt road to get in (about 1km) has massive potholes in it. Our friends drove in a sedan, they made it, but we had to take all the passengers and gear out as they kept bottoming out. 4x4 recommended. Highly recommend - we'll be back.
