Our 35 square meter studio is in the most beautiful, as well as quiet and relaxed location, 12 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by car from Grindelwald train station. You can enjoy the beautiful view in the garden lounge from the private covered terrace. The fully equipped kitchen with oven and 4 burners lets the cooking passion run free. In the comfortable box spring bed, as found in the hotel industry, nothing stands in the way of a restful and relaxed sleep.

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail. My property, which was completely refurbished in summer 2016, is located on the south-facing "sunny side" of Grindelwald in a very quiet location and is well suited for couples and solo travelers. The village center of Grindelwald can be reached on foot in about 12 minutes.
