By car, you can reach the nearest swimming lake in five minutes and saltwater swimming in Bovallstrand in just 10 minutes.

You bring towels, sheets, duvet covers, etc. and leave the apartment in the same condition as when you arrived. If you cannot do this, a fee of NOK 1000 will be charged.

Its close to the ocean and in between you find a landscape typical for the region, raw, beautiful and surreal. In the bay, many boats seek a night port as it is protected by mountains. Here are also beaches. The village offers many varied walking paths along the sea. There are several swimming spots here, both from mountains and sandy beaches. During other times of the year it is quieter. We find pleasure in that too!

It is five minutes walk to the sea and in the bay there is a rowboat that you can borrow. On the island, there is a fish shop and restaurant, also a five-minute walk from the house. Nature on the island is diverse with open sea and cliffs to the west, small farms and forests in the middle of the island.
