I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The jacuzzi and sauna worked perfectly and added a special touch to the experience. The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and kind—he made everything easy and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and communication was always quick and clear. I rented Yano's house for 2 weeks in February, as I wanted to experience real winter, among other things, and also wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet alone with my dog. Both worked out, there was high snow, it was freezing cold and I was all alone there, none of the neighboring houses were occupied at that time. From the first evening I felt comfortable, the house exudes a nice coziness, the fireplace provides a cozy warmth, for which there was also plenty of wood. The communication with Yano was friendly and answers came quickly. Yano had previously written to me that in snow the access to the house could not have been cleared - so it was, but I was set for it so it was okay! The house had everything you need and even more than in other houses, so everything was fine here too. I would book again should I be in the mood for winter and solitude. Thank you!!

Very nice house and location. The walk-through room was not so convenient for our group (6 friends), but if you go with 1 or 2 families that is fine.

Hey, Me and my friends had wonderful and relaxing days at Carsten AirBnb. The apartment was clean and tidy, you had everything you needed including enough utensils to cook for 8 people. In particular, the terrace was a dream to have breakfast in the morning with a lake view and then go either to the lake or hike from there. We highly recommend the place and are very happy that we were also allowed to be here as a somewhat younger group.

The house is surrounded by nature and is very near the lake. There are many nice details inside, well equipped, and it's very clean. Communication with the host was quick and easy. It looks like it is not for renting only. So... I would always stay there again.

What a wonderful house and what a great environment! The house was much larger than I had expected. It was cozy. The beds are in the kitchen. I thought it would be a little strange, but it didn't feel that way at all. Beds were clean and were fine. Only getting to the top bed was quite a feat for my dear son. Otherwise, no problem, it was funny. The house has all the comforts. Wood stove was very nice and the other heating made the cottage quickly cozy. The area is a true fairy tale with forests and beautiful lakes. We have enjoyed it to the fullest.

We had a lovely stay at this place in Åmål. The accommodation was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable and at ease right from the moment we arrived. It’s clear that the hosts take great pride in keeping the place in excellent condition. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. They provided us with clear and helpful instructions about the house and surrounding area, making everything easy to understand and navigate. It was a peaceful and pleasant stay, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Åmål and would happily come back again in the future!

everything is ok at this price. i will say that it was cold in the hallway at night to go to the bathroom but the rooms were elegant. everything is ok. parking ok. access ok. blouses lake and beautiful views. I recommend.

Beautiful by the edge of Lake Vänern.

The residence is quietly surrounded by nature. You get a lot of facilities to make you feel at home. The only thing missing was a living room. It was all taken care of and neat upon arrival except for a few light dust spots. Very pleasant, especially for our transit. Thank you Linnea & Johan!

We stayed in Lena's beautiful apartment for three nights. It is quietly located, the city is within walking distance in 20 minutes. Lena helped us immediately when we had a small problem with the batteries of the TV remote control. She also offered us her canoe. Again and again, at any time😊!

We stayed there for 2 nights. It was very calm and peaceful with a little pond nearby. It is a perfect place to stay away from the hassle and relax. There were a fee bugs around the window which is totally normal in a farm. I recommend this place for a cozy traditional stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in the small house on the island and we had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. The house is really well furnished, clean and offers a magnificent view of the lake. We were the only guests during this time and therefore had the island to ourselves. Anders has already instructed us superbly in advance and always answered questions very quickly. We had a rowing boat for the crossing. Although my partner rowed very well, the crossing after a trip to the campsite was very challenging due to strong winds. We therefore recommend renting the motor from Anders. He also offers this. We would have loved to stay longer, but we had to move on. We wish all guests the same relaxation that we were able to enjoy in Anders Haus and are happy to recommend the house and the Superhost! Fränzi & David from Switzerland

A wonderful place to relax. Fantastic location by the lake surrounded by flower meadows. Absolutely quiet location. The accommodation is very comfortably furnished with high-quality amenities. A special highlight is the sauna by the water. I will miss going for a ride on the rowing boat across the lake in the evening. Daniel is a very good friendly host and responds quickly to all questions. We will be happy to come back.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in amazing surroundings. We made stops at the cabin on our way skiing. Super beautiful in the cabin and with winter wonderland and ice on the lake. But we also really wanted to experience it in the summer 😊

This was the best place we have ever stayed in. Lovely and authentic house, good beds, the garden elevates the overall experience, the lake is breathtaking. We made some nice walks, no tics or mosquitoes (end of May). We swam in the lake (still quite cold). We hope to come back very soon!

We would definitely recommend the place, which stands out especially well in the outdoor surroundings, where the home is surrounded by forest and lake. Outdoors, there's plenty of activities to enjoy. On the indoor amenities, as a guest, you should expect a relatively simple and somewhat old-fashioned space.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful place. Lovely to sit so close to the water and what a beautiful view! The cottage was ideal for us as a family of 3 and our daughter enjoyed the garden and the toys present. Unfortunately, the cottage was not as clean upon arrival as we are normally used to it & we went to clean immediately. It did not provide less holiday fun, but given the price of the cottage you can actually expect this. Ideal place to explore the area!

We had an amazing stay. Annika is such a lovely person. Talking to her was really nice. She answered all of our questions and was just very helpful and kind. The cottage is just perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The view of the lake (especially while lying in bed) is amazing. The cats came by and cuddled with us, which was super sweet. The area is perfect for day trips too. We would love to come back someday.
