Here you are in the middle of the countryside, but if you want city life for a day, a trip to Karlstad is recommended, or the small towns of Säffle and Åmål. Vänern's beautiful archipelago is only 10 km away by bike along a cozy country road. At Solbacken you have all you need to live the good life.

On Storön you get to experience the tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. Storön is a car-free island with no land connection. It offers Vänern which offers amazing sunsets and baths from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We even have an amazing forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In wintertime, there are nice ice cream for long-distance skates. The service home sits on a farm and every day there is the possibility to accompany and feed the animals.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Nestled by the edge of a peaceful pool, you'll find a hot tub that comfortably accommodates up to five people, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake. The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Nature is just outside your door and in the evening you will watch the sun set over the lake. We look forward to welcoming you!

Här har Ni tillgång till ett spabad, en uteplats att grilla på, två sovrum inomhus och en nybyggd gäststuga med två bäddsoffor. Laddbox till elbilar finns att tillgå. Läget är optimalt om Ni behöver komma bort från storstadens stress och bara få njuta av lugnet. Koppla av i spabadet, ta långa promenader, elda i kaminen, och låt själen få ro.

The guest house is built in 2010 and is 30 m2 + sleeping loft. The house is located close to nature with nice walking paths in the woods and countryside. The lake, Västra Silen, is located for swimming and fishing enthusiasts about 2.5 km. 10min walk to the center, 15min to Sweden's most beautiful trotting track, Årjängs trotting track. 120 km to Oslo, 100 km to Karlstad, good bus connections to both destinations. Additional bedrooms on the garage building, available, 2 beds.

The house is 320 m2 and was built in 2018. It is beautifully located on a farm with access to its own heated pool (about 29 degrees) and directly adjacent to Vänern. Large garden with two trampolines, soccer goals, cable car, covered porch and large open terrace. The house contains large social areas with fireplace and pool table. 6 bedrooms, 2 living rooms. Shower, toilet, bathtub and sauna. Less than 1 km from the house is the Bomstadsbadens campsite.

After a gravel road up on a mountain in the heart of the fine forest you will find the tranquility of this gem with everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Here you live with the silence in the middle of nature, right by a lake but with all the amenities you might need. In the nearby area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a ride on any snowmobile trail.
