Η γειτονιά είναι πολύ φιλόξενη και ήσυχη,100 μέτρα από το γραφικό λιμανάκι του Κολυμπαρίου και 20 μέτρα μακρυά από την παραλία. There are 3 small Apartments with one double bed and a sleeping sofa in each. This (nr. 3) is slightly smaller than nr. 1 and 2 and a few Euros cheaper per night. There is a wonderful view over the village of Tavronitis, the Ocean and the Mountains of Crete. This is a very quiet place and not a place for parties :-) It is an ideal spot to have as a base to explore the western part of Crete with its beautiful beaches, villages and numerous sights.

Nektarias House is located high up in the mountains, but not far away from Chania. The drive up is breathtaking. We got the direction to the house upfront, so that was pretty easy - even in the dark. Nektarias husband was there to welcome us - even at this late hour. He showed us the house and how everything works and there were little traditional greek pastries as a welcome gift. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially because it was soooo quiet. Just us, the goats and sheep, the crickets and the Olive trees. We appreciated the mosquito nets in front of all windows, which allowed us a peaceful sleep even with open windows. The house was spotless clean and everything we needed was there. Nektaria is only a phone call away and reacts promptly if needs be. We will return, when we are back on Crete. @Nektaria: thank you once again for your hospitality :-)

Words and photos cannot describe the beauty of this place. We had an absolutely magical visit. The home is comfortable and very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Stella was the perfect host. She was so kind and thought of everything you might need. Make sure to follow her recommendations for restaurants as they were amazing. Thank you for the delicious homemade treats and a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We look forward to our return.

Absolute bliss. This house is in the beautiful Topolia, a small town on the road to the popular Elafonissi Beach. The actual house is perfect—clean, save, good bathroom, kitchen and stunning view. The bakery and taverns in town are amazing. Much better food than near the beaches. Try the classic crete food and enjoy the wonderful view.
