Close to the ski slope, lots of miles on nice snowmobile trails, there are companies that rent out snowmobiles, fishing in the river or lake, ice fishing or summer fishing, there are companies with the possibility of guided tours, hockey rink in the village, in the municipality there are many illuminated trails for cross-country skiing, one in the village and that a trail is usually drawn along the beach edge at the house. Sörmjöle is located on the coast about 20 km south of Umeå. There are buses to Umeå several times a day. In the village, there is a convenience store, and Hörnefors is about eight kilometers away – there are grocery stores, a pharmacy, bathhouse, gym and train station.

Cozy accommodation with lake view in a scenic area. The house was partially renovated in 2020. On the lower floor, there is a large living room, kitchen, large bathroom and a small toilet. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with 6 beds. - Access to sauna is available in an adjacent house, including shower and toilet. The house also has a sofa bed that sleeps two guests. - Swimming beach nearby. - The nearest grocery store is in Bygdsiljum, 8 km away - Proximity to slalom hill, 8 km.

Welcome. This cottage built in 1894 has been carefully renovated to a cosy guesthouse on 30m2 for 5 people. A cottage with the comfort of modern people of today but still with the atmosphere of back in the old days. This is tho cottage for you if you like to visit a traditional Swedish house, and like a place to relax. But here is also many possibilities for activities. Detta unika boende låter dig sova uppe bland fåglarna. Njut av utsikten från ett trädhus 6 meter upp i en tall. Dess 8-kantiga form gör att huset känns rymligt. Ungefär halva ytan utgörs av en stor säng med plats för två vuxna och 2-barn. El är indraget, ett litet element ger värme långt in på hösten. On the jetty, you can enjoy the fresh air and the amazing view of the water, while the cast iron fireplace spreads warmth and creates a cozy atmosphere indoors. It is also possible to take a relaxing fishing trip on the lake or explore the surrounding forests and their beautiful trails in the area.

In our typically Swedish guest hut, you will find 30m2 of space in two rooms. In the sleeping area you will find two very comfortable boxspring beds, which can be used as a double bed or as single beds. In our small kitchenette, which is very comfortably equipped and the practical small oven, you could easily prepare a delicious meal. The woodburning stove radiates the charm of hut romanticism and lets you relax in comforting warmth. There are several dogs in the area!
