In the area, there are several beaches, barbecue areas and nice forest trails. In winter, there are ski tracks on the lake and an ice vacuum for winter swimming . An idyllic spot only about 10 minutes drive from Umeå.

From the cottage, you can in winter connect to excellent snowmobile trails that stretch over the mountains and down to the central cities.
