Sörmjöle is located on the coast about 20 km south of Umeå. There are buses to Umeå several times a day. In the village, there is a convenience store, and Hörnefors is about eight kilometers away – there are grocery stores, a pharmacy, bathhouse, gym and train station.

Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, boil coffee and cook over an open fire. Close to a slalom slope, lots of miles of nice snowmobile trails, there are companies that rent out snowmobiles, fishing in a river or lake, ice fishing or summer fishing. On the farm, we have hens and a rooster that crows beautifully, creating a rural atmosphere. Sometimes there may be new eggs to enjoy.
