We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel right at home right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the love for detail in every corner!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Soest! The place was incredibly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated — a perfect retreat surrounded by nature. The horses on the property added a unique and peaceful touch, and there was plenty to do in the area for nature lovers. What truly made the stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of the owner, Denise. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Nice, quiet stay in nature. Great to unwind and enjoy a little wellness. Sauna and Whirlpool worked well and the introduction from Peter was easy to understand and follow. There s bikes to lend at any time, the vacation home is conveniently located close to Putten. Thanks a lot for a relaxing stay.

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

We enjoyed our short stay (2 nights) . Everything that was needed to make our stay pleasant was present and everything was very neat.

We had an incredibly beautiful time in this tastefully decorated cottage. Everything was perfect: a great landscape with cows, ducks, wild birds as the perfect backdrop for our bike tours. We very much enjoyed staying at and in the house - outside the free-range chickens and inside the great ambience, which enchanted with a lot of attention to detail. Definitely we will be back.

You can actually add nothing to the previous reviews: The house is in excellent condition (everything looks practically like new), excellently equipped and perfectly located for excursions to the entire region, even Amsterdam is just a stone's throw away. The air conditioning is great and should be used extensively in sunny weather. But the highlight is the canals that intersect directly in front of the house, where it was teeming with water and other birds of various kinds, now in June many with young; and on the pasture diagonally opposite the horses were grazing. If you like to look at, observe or photograph animals, you will get your money's worth here - take binoculars with you! The contact with Ireen was excellent, very nice and super fast! There are already many very good tips. So: Top, unconditional recommendation!

We had a short, very nice New Year's Eve stay with Gerard with great views of the fireworks over the water. The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated and has a large dining and living area. In particular, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Gerard responded quickly and helpfully to inquiries. Definitely recommended!

The location of the house is very peaceful, in a very quiet place. A perfect place to relax. It is necessary to have your own car. Everything is as in the pictures. The host is polite.

I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

We had a great week at the chalet and really recommend staying there! The environment is very quiet and peaceful with lots of nature. Still you can easily reach cities like Amsterdam quickly. Maurice and Ashley are very kind and caring hostess, they always replied immediately to our messages.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The space was impeccably clean. Each room is decorated in a way that can surprise, creating interior spaces that you will not find anywhere else (like it or not). The beds are very comfortable and smell good, as do the towels. The garden is a true haven of peace, and here you will find a bold decoration😉. As for our hosts, they were exceptionally kind and attentive. We particularly appreciated the charming welcome gift: delicious fresh eggs from their own hens, who were very friendly neighbors during our stay. We also loved greeting the horse and pony every morning!Let's not forget a message written in French🥰. Only small downside: even if we did not stay during a period of high heat, the temperature can quickly rise as soon as there is a ray of sun upstairs. Thank you so much for the experience.

Jan Jaap and Karin are fantastic hosts! The place is exactly as described in the listing and in fact better than the pictures in some cases. Clean, cozy and charming! The location cannot be beat. Walkable from the weekly market, grocery stores and the railway station. We stayed here for a month and the place had everything for a comfortable stay. The hosts were proactive in communication and very always very helpful. We highly recommend the place!

After a pleasant communication with Maartje, we were warmly welcomed by Ernest. The cottage is very lovingly and cozily furnished and has a nice little garden. If necessary, two bicycles are available. You feel right at home, everything you need is available. The location is within walking distance of the center of Muiden, where there are nice cafes and restaurants. From Amsterdam, you need 10 minutes by car to Weesp and then 18 minutes by train to the main station. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back at any time. Beautiful home and location. Looked exactly like the pictures. The stay was peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and a perfect family get away. Lots of things to do nearby with a very welcoming atmosphere.

Great house exactly as shown! It takes about an hour to get to Amsterdam (walking/public transport), so be aware of that. However, we enjoyed having a place outside of the city to relax and had no problem getting in and out of the city. Such a beautiful place. Stephanie was helpful and responded quickly.
