At the gates of the village

Delightful apartment in the town of Castell'Arquato. This beautiful town is characterized by a medieval village perched along the hill overlooking the valley. Castell'Arquato has the title of city of art, has been awarded the orange flag by the Italian Touring Club and is part of the club of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Nearby you can also visit the historic village of Vigoleno. It is 30 km from Piacenza, 12 km from the Fiorenzuola highway exit and 45 km from Parma.

In an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by unspoiled nature, we rent a small rustic mountain villa that is part of an ancient fief of the castle of Belforte (in Borgo Val di Taro), completely renovated while maintaining an ancient state of preservation. It enjoys a beautiful panoramic view of the Taro valley up to the Ligurian mountains. It is surrounded by chestnut woods and centuries-old oaks, just a 10-minute drive from Borgo Val di Taro, the main village.

Your host and winemaker Matteo Piccinini has his vineyards here, and he makes you feel right at home. We have decorated our villa Hotel Chique while retaining the characteristic elements. During the season, you can also go to the public swimming pool, where there is a wonderful happening every day.

Wonderful view of the hills and countryside, wide country garden. Swimming pool. The place has been published on many lifestyle magazines. To get to the property you need to drive through about 600 meters dirt road (unpaved). For safety reasons, children less than 12 years old are not admitted.
