Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ventalon en Cévennes

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Florence ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Bereits vor der Anreise versorgte sie uns zeitnah mit allen notwendigen Informationen. Vor Ort hat alles perfekt geklappt. Florence ist unglaublich nett und herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum: ein kleines Stück vom Paradies! Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter und würden ohne zu Zögern 10 Sterne vergeben, wenn das möglich wäre.

L'endroit parfait si on apprécie le calme et la nature. Le logement est conforme aux photos, propre et offrant tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à Laure et Jérôme pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Une bouteille de jus de pomme fait maison offerte. Laure nous a également permis de rester quelques heures de plus avant de partir. deux gestes que nous avons appréciés. Un lieu où nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Le logement est magnifique et la région également. La maison a été rénové avec soins et on s’y sent vraiment bien. Nous avons adoré séjourné ici même si le temps a été un peu gris 😂. Nous recommandons ce logement et y reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci encore Camille pour la disponibilité et la gentillesse

Wij hadden twee heerlijke weken in het huisje van Catherine! We hebben genoten van de rust, de eenvoud, wilde natuur, schone lucht en uitdagende wandelingen. Het zwembad was heerlijk fris en een belevenis! Catherine en haar familie ontvingen ons zeer hartelijk. Van Bruno kregen we zelfgemaakte geitenkaas. Eigenlijk houden we deze mooie plek liever geheim : )

Un séjour magique dans les hauteurs. Vue imprenable sur la montagne et logement superbe, belle déco avec de beaux matériaux, tout ce qu’on aime ! Du petit déjeuner sur la terrasse à l’apéro de début de soirée dans l’herbe, nous n’oublierons aucun instant. Région magnifique avec énormément de choses à découvrir. Merci aux hôtes très sympathiques avec qui nous avons eu de bons échanges et qui nous ont donné de bonnes recommandations !!

Recept voor een gelukkige tijd: Boek dit huisje voor minstens een week. Duik in de boeken- en dvd-collectie en ga naar de dinsdagmarkt in Villefort en de zaterdagmarkt in Les Vans (!). Kook met de heerlijke lokale producten in deze supergezellige keuken. Geniet van de rust en maak een wandeling langs de rivier, je moet niet ver gaan om te kunnen genieten van de overweldigende natuur. Lange wandelingen zijn optioneel, en als je buiten het seizoen de haard stookt en geniet van het knisperende vuur is de idylle compleet.

Accueil parfait et appartement magnifique. Très bien situé, je recommande sans problème.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Nous avons vécu une parenthèse inattendu chez Cinthia. Le moindre détail est pensé pour notre bien être. Nous avons passé de bons moments de partage et de rires. Nous avons découvert pleins d'appareils de détente qu'on peut facilement acheter. Nous n'avons pas pu tout essayer en 3 jours, c'est trop court. Nous reviendrons, c'est obligé.

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Pour les Amoureux de Nature je recommande vraiment le logement de Françoise et Serge. Très paisible et confortable. Nous remercions Françoise et Serge pour les petites attention fraises et abricots, délicieux.

Bij ons was vooral Jane, zijn vrouw. de gastvrouw. Zeer vriendelijk, legde van alles uit over de vogels(onze interesse) en te bezoeken plaatsjes. Was zichtbaar blij met ons als gast. De plek is adembenemend mooi en stil! De toegang naar ons huis rook verrukkelijk door alle bloeiende rozen en jasmijn. Het enige minpuntje vonden we dat je moet douchen in het bad. Maar dat was voor 1 werk niet erg.

Le logement est joli, spacieux, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. À l’extérieur, un petit jardin charmant et une terrasse agréable permettent de se restaurer, se reposer ou même travailler sur son ordinateur. L’endroit est très calme, on s’y sent vraiment bien. À deux pas, la rivière . C’est un véritable paradis pour les amoureux de la nature : oiseaux, poissons de toutes tailles, grenouilles, libellules , et une multitude d’insectes à observer… La nature dans toute sa splendeur et sa beauté, ça fait un bien fou ! Le village de Lasalle est magnifique, avec tous les commerces nécessaires, de bonnes adresses pour se restaurer, et des habitants chaleureux et souriants. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par notre séjour, au point de penser déjà à revenir. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, chaleureux et attentifs à ce que notre week-end se passe au mieux. Disponibles tout en restant discrets – une qualité rare – et pour cela, nous les remercions sincèrement.

Rémy’s place exceeded our expectations! It was perfectly equip, and the location was fantastic - literally just off the main square. The small terrace was lovely, a treat to have. Rémy was very responsive, and easy to contact. Would come back to Uzes and happily stay here again!

Just stayed in this beautiful villa with a group of friends for my 60 th birthday and we had an amazing stay. The villa is absolutely fabulous, gorgeous inside and the pool area and exterior are just wonderful. The backdrop of the Luberon cliffs just adds to a great location. From the beginning, the hosts Fabio and Pierre could not have been more helpful, they recommended lovely restaurants, additional bike hire options, a great chef who cooked us an amazing dinner one night, local walks and options for other activities and local villages to visit - too much to fit in to a long weekend so we will definitely have to return again! I had a very memorable weekend so thank you again, you have a very special place! Sally

Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich toll. Es ist sehr ruhig und gefühlt mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem sind die großartige Bäckerei, ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein nettes Restaurant in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vintage-Stil der Ausstattung und der Garten mit zwei Terrassen und Pool machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Bildern aussieht. Lézan ist sehr dörflich aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geeignet. Die Tipps und Hinweise von Fabrice waren sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und es gibt alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Unbedingt den Bio-Winzer nebenan besuchen und Wein kaufen!

A luxurious oasis in the middle of the Luberon. Within a 5-10 minutes drive are the stunning towns of Gordes, Joucas, Goult and Rousillon, with L'Isle sur la Sorgue about 15-20 mins away. The first four all have terrific boulangeries for the essential early morning croissants and coffee. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped for group dining, indoors or out. The pool is the centre attraction (although slightly on the cool side), with outdoor table tennis and darts also adding to the fun. Lots of beds and chairs around the pool to capture the sun from all angles. We've left with very special memories shared with friends and family. Thank you

Wir haben uns in dieser edlen Villa auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt. Eine kaum zu übertreffende Lage mit Aussicht auf das Rhonetal und gleichzeitig sehr ruhig. Moderne Klimatisierung individuell regelbar und sehr leise. Wir fanden die Inneneinrichtung auch sehr charmant. Bénédicte war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

This house and the surrounding grounds are amazing. This was the most impressive AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We stayed here for one week for a family gathering. It is as big (or bigger) than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and modern. The grounds are spectacular. They even have 8 small tortoises on the premises which the kids loved to feed. The pool is huge. You feel like you are on the grounds of a palace. Additionally, Najet and her husband were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the south of France.

La maison était parfaite pour nous, spacieuse, très propre, super bien équipée, et vraiment géniale pour des vacances reposantes avec sa piscine, son jacuzzi et son grand jardin. Perfekter Urlaub leider viel zu schnell vorbei. 5 Sterne für Cin und ihr kleines Paradies. Cin war eine perfekte und wahrmherzige Gastgeberin welche immer stets bemüht war. Die Kommunikation lief super, schnelle Antworten, Tipps für die Ausflüge und ein sehr herzlicher und willkommener Empfang mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Ruhe, top Lage, wunderschöne Aussicht und traumhafte Sonnenaufgänge gehabt. Ein kleiner zusätzlicher Bonus sind die Katzen die uns zusätzlich immer ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert haben. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und freuen uns jetzt schon drauf !!
