Cottage holiday rentals in Verdon Gorge

We had a great stay at Anne's Cottage! The accommodation is perfect: everything was very clean when we arrived, the bedding is very comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped (nothing is missing, even a barbecue is available!). Anne is a very kind host, always available and attentive. We recommend this listing without a second thought!

Beautiful welcome in a charming cottage by the river, we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay with the jacuzzi area as a bonus, which is ideal for relaxing. The hosts who live on site are charming and answered our questions without disturbing our privacy. I recommend it for a weekend or a peaceful vacation in the countryside!

Fantastic stay. Kate and Jean Luc are very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is cozy. Cozy and is in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the chickens, geese , sheep and ducks in the garden. Delicious fresh eggs eaten. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. Jean Luc has set out 2 cycling routes for us and we were allowed to use the e-bikes.

We were greeted by Audrey who was able to adapt to our arrival and explain the operation of the house. We had a very pleasant stay in a quiet and peaceful place where everything was at our disposal. A real pleasure, thank you again.

Jean-Luc was a great host. Place was great we used it as a base for a few days ahead of another stay. Great location.

The mountain lodge of Lure is located in the Domaine de la Buisse, beautiful quiet estate close to the villages of banon and simiane la rotunda. we had a very nice week with the family with all the comforts in the cottage, the activities of the estate (swimming pool, tennis or pétanque) and beautiful activities in the area. we'll be back with pleasure and recommend the cottage without hesitating!

We stayed at Lou Cade with our two daughters (3 yrs & 6 months) and had a lovely, peaceful, and calming stay. If you're looking for somewhere to get away, disconnect and enjoy your surroundings with loved ones (even little loved ones) then this will not disappoint. The pool, outside living and landscaping are beautiful and practical. The house is delightful and well equipped. The nearest village is a 12-15min drive which is great to restock, eat out and walk around - but as long as you're well prepared and want to relax you'll never need to leave. We went in high summer so be prepared for mosquitos and hot temperatures....but if you want the comfort of a holiday home in what seems like isolated nature - this is the spot for you.

We needed a place not too far from home, but where we could quickly unwind, and we found the rare gem. Everything was perfect, matched the advertised description, in short a little paradise. Our dog had a blast in the beautiful space available to us. Small downside, we like to meet the owners or caretakers, rather than these impersonal key cabinets, but Hassan met all of our expectations by phone, quickly and efficiently. We hope to be able to return when it's a little warmer!! Thank you for all you do. Frédérique and David

We had a wonderful time in La Petite Ruche. Beautifully located in the olive grove and is great and stylishly furnished. Communication with Abbi and Yoann was straightforward and we were helped quickly and easily. We highly recommend the place and would be happy to come back.

The cottage was simply wonderful, nestled in a magnificent garden that was assigned solely to the accommodation. Above in the sloping terrain was the house of the hosts with an equally wonderful garden and pool, which I liked to use, wonderful! The hosts André and Gilli are a super nice couple and great hosts. They literally read the wishes from the lips. Would love to go back anytime!

Florence and David’s place is such a beautiful tranquil little getaway! Myself, my husband and our 3 month old baby had a really peaceful and relaxing time here. The place is spotless, well equipped, and the garden, terrace and pool are amazing. It’s in a quiet area but that’s its appeal, it’s surrounded by vineyards. Lidl is a very close drive and we recommend going to le Castellet which is a beautiful nearby medieval village on a hill. Florence and David were brilliant hosts, we would recommend this to anyone.

We had a great time at Maison Verdollin. The house is very spacious, ideal for a stay with family or friends, with enough space for everyone. Everything was clean and well prepared upon arrival. It's a place with an amazing soul, the house has a crazy charm and you can feel its history. The garden is lovely! The surrounding area is full of beautiful walks, between rivers, forests and mountains. The proximity to Mercantour Park is a real plus for nature lovers. Castillon Lake is 15 minutes away and offers swimming and water activities. We recommend without hesitation and will be back with pleasure!

Very tastefully furnished cottage, clean and in a beautiful quiet location. Outside, there are 2 terraces for sitting or spending time pleasantly at dinner. A big plus is the small pool for great relaxation with several sun loungers. Lots of beaches, Sainte-Maxime, Saint Tropez, Grimaud and other nice towns within a short drive. The owners are very nice and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Very nice cottage in a garden. Impeccable cleanliness, well equipped, splendid bathroom. Downtown 5mn walk, private parking. For the hike to the waterfall: just cross the street.

A little paradise very close to Sisteron, quiet with excellent swimming pool and very pleasant garden. Bernard is adorable and present if necessary. Recommended!

Great weekend. Rejuvenating, safe and peaceful. A modern home, very bright, a very nice space, clean. (Matches 100% photos) Daniele is really kind and accommodating, very good contact, remains available if you need it. Family land, it feels good and in peace. GREAT value for money. Located in a small Provencal village, very cute, several activities and hikes (with children, couples or solo) to do in the area. Close to Grasse, Cannes. Shops for groceries: Spar (10 min walk and 3 min drive) Intermarché (20 min walk, and 5 min drive), superb organic and local grocery store (10 min walk, 3 min drive). Several restaurants in the village. I really recommend it!
