Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Verfeuil

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great stay for two at Nathalie's and her family's place. She and her husband welcomed us warmly and explained everything. The location is fantastic. Very quiet, perfect for relaxing. You have the choice of whether you want to drive to the numerous places or enjoy the tranquility. You also have the opportunity to take active vacations or do sightseeing. You can always end the evening relaxing by the pool. We definitely recommend the place

Stunning. This home is a dream come true. Gorgeously decorated and thoughtfully stocked. The view from the balcony is heaven. The location of the home is just perfect. Our concierge, Denis, may be the most attentive and helpful person we’ve ever met while staying at an Airbnb. He’s an expert on the region (he wrote a book about it!) and gave us perfect recommendations! He was available to us during our whole stay and did everything to make sure we had all we needed. Even better than the photos, this home is magnificent and immaculately clean, with the most comfortable beds and spa like bathrooms. It’s quiet and private. Lots of room for our family of four. Gordes is a perfect place to stay to visit all of Provence. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!

We had an unforgettable stay in this charming old barn. The house, modern and perfectly equipped, is nestled in the middle of nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing setting. STUNNING VIEWS, especially sunsets. Daily breakfast in the garden is a highlight. The garden is magical and the village is fun to explore. Francois and Maria are gracious and generous hosts. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional French home in St. Victor Lacoste. Lovingly restored, the house perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. Every detail felt thoughtful and authentic, making it a truly special place to stay. The private pool and outdoor kitchen were highlights—we used them every single day. It was the perfect setup for relaxing, enjoying long meals, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. St. Victor Lacoste itself is a quaint and charming village, and the location is ideal for exploring nearby picturesque towns and the surrounding vineyards if you have a car. A huge thank you to our amazing hosts, Lena and Jean Claude, who were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our trip even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back—it was hard to leave!

We had a great time in this little studio. It is located in a beautiful residence and in a quiet area. Super simple to park the car on the street, there are always spots available. The accommodation is also very modern and very comfortable and pleasant. We had to stay a week and in the end we did not hesitate to renew another week as the good was great! Recommended:)

Personally I needed an accommodation to go and see from the family what I had explained to Adrien . I also drunk because the area is very beautiful. so perfect for me. the accommodation being in the c of the house I felt that I was not alone but not at all caring because large house. I specify it because I usually prefer to be in independent accommodation..but there it was the same.. I was not looking for the exchange. very nice accommodation . address that I remember to come back maybe.. if Adrien is ok!

The ideal stay for moments of relaxation in a peaceful setting. Hosts are available at any time for anything. Very warm and caring, Bernard is a good source of advice for finding the best places to go for a walk. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, which are very well maintained on a daily basis. And our dog had a great time frolicking in the garden, which was safe for him! We will be happy to come back to unwind from everyday life! Thanks to Bernard and Chantal for hosting.

Staying in this ancient building with renovated suites was a quintessential Avignon experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the location just off Place de l'Horloge. Vanessa provided clear instructions for check-in and we had no other needs to contact her about during our stay, but I am confident she would have been available and responsive. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean & beautiful, and the open living space was perfect for our 3-night stay. We were so happy to be there on a Saturday so that we could enjoy the street market with local artisans and vendors! :) Would stay here again if ever in Avignon. Loved staying in the old city and finding small cafés on narrow Rues to enjoy Spritzes or a meal or even a morning croissant.

10/10 would recommend!

Jeremy was very helpful, super responsive and his place is very clean and spacious. We loved having an air conditioned place and it was walkable to the town center and train station. Only downside is the stairs but I had a pretty heavy checked bag and still managed it just fine. Would definitely come back to stay at this place again anytime I’m in Avignon.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Excellent place, very clean, well distributed and nicely renovated department with a lot of utensils and its own private parking spot. Thierry was very proactive, responsive and super kind, he waited for us and showed us the place. The hosts also let us arrive before our check in time.

Beautiful apartment with charm near everything to visit

A piece of paradise in the middle of the vineyards. Véronique and Pascal are charming and very discreet. We were able to discuss their passion and their art with them. They are fascinating. Our accommodation was perfect, just like the description. The ceilings are low upstairs but as indicated in the description, no surprise. Perfect bedding and a very nice soothing decoration. I highly recommend it. We'll be back, I think.

We stayed at Michelle’s apartment for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at (among probably 20 + places we have rented over the last 40 years). Everything about the experience with Michelle was top notch. She’s so friendly, thoughtful, caring and professional. We needed to contact her a few times during the stay, and she handled every question perfectly and with grace. The apartment’s amenities ticked off all the boxes. We chose it for the proximity to downtown, and were happy to be able to walk easily to all the stores, restaurants, pharmacy, Place aux Herbes, etc. That means a lot, since my husband cannot walk long distances. In addition, we arrived in town at the start of a very nasty cold/flu illness we’d picked up on a cruise a few days before. The apartment was perfectly suited to help us rest and recover. This (too short) stay filled us with happiness. We were first very pleasantly surprised by the attentive and warm welcome from Marie, then won over by the comfort of the apartment and the garden (with pool).
