*Gerês* - Studio with kitchen

Located at one of the gates of the Peneda Gerês National Park, on the left slope of Albufeira da Caniçada, an ideal location for visiting various points of tourist interest in the center of Gerês, such as waterfalls, dams, mountain ranges, lagoons, hiking,… This property has air conditioning for heating and/or cooling, free Wi-Fi. Next to the house and separate, there is a space with a private barbecue just for this accommodation. The parking lot is at the door and the entrance is private.

This house with its rustic exterior opens the doors of Quinta dos Carqueijais. It is the first villa in a circuit of 6 villas with direct access to the dam, a private jetty and a wellness area with jacuzzi, sauna and heated swimming pool. Repurposed from an old house, it is a landmark in the architectural genetics of Gerês. It has a suite and two bedrooms. Facing the Caniçada dam, it also has a wide view of the water and the surrounding mountains. It also has its own outdoor swimming pool.

House in Gerês by the Water

Welcome to our cozy two-story home by the lake! We’ve kept the charming granite façade typical of the region, while the interior is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. Located in the heart of Peneda-Gerês National Park, you’ll have access to scenic hikes, thermal baths, and breathtaking nature. Just 1 hour from Braga and 90 minutes from Porto. P.S. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.

Casa da Barca T2- river beach

Please read the description: T2 on the first floor of villa in the town of Rio Caldo- Gerês. River beach access (Praia da Barca). Equipped kitchen, barbecue, linens and towels. Wifi. Air conditioning (for this reason we did not provide firewood for the fireplace). As it is an apartment in a house with several spaces, the exterior can be used as a passageway by other people. However, there is an outdoor table and chairs for the exclusive use of the guests.

Villa La finca - Gerês is a tiny house, specifically built for the concrete site, surrounded by peace and nature, having a deck that sits over the entire river. The farm has 3 villas for our guests, with all the necessary amenities, who can enjoy the space with tranquility on their vacation and access the river directly from the property. The Villa is ready for (up to) 6 people and will be an amazing experience in nature. Local stores are nearby.

Accommodation with all amenities, located on the left slope of the Caniçada reservoir with magnificent views of the river, countryside and mountain. Area surrounding Gerês National Park. Ideal for hiking, nearby trails in Serra do Gerês and Cabreira, visiting waterfalls, lagoons, water sports, close to river beaches, Basilica de S. Bento da Porta Aberta and the Caldo/Cávado/Gerês river bridges. It is located on the 1st floor of the villa.

Charming lakeside cottage/gardens with views

Located in one of the villages of Peneda Gerês National Park, a stone's throw from the lake and close to Caniçada beach, this 1890 cottage was completely renovated in 2022 with all modern comforts while keeping the spirit and charm of stone houses Enjoy the magnificent view of the river, from the terraced green spaces, (stairs to access it) the summer kitchen, relaxation areas and in winter, enjoy a good fireplace in a warm living room.

A CABANA

Rustic style house, Located in a typical rural parish, very quiet in the middle of the Peneda do Geres Natural Park. Ideal for a well-deserved vacation or weekends, where you can enjoy a magnificent landscape overlooking the caniçada dam lake with direct access to it, where rest and comfort are guaranteed.
