Elisa's accommodation is a real gem in a medieval location, ideal for 2 people, very clean, equipped with everything you need. Not to mention the courtyard, equipped with a barbecue that we used, and its view of a wonderful landscape. Elisa and her father were very helpful and very kind. We'd be more than happy to come back. Highly recommended!

An ideal place for people who are looking for a quiet and peaceful area for a few days stay in Pisa and the surrounding area. Trekking trails 1h30m by car from the place. 15 min by car to a small town where you can eat or do some shopping. Maria is very communicative and helpful.

The stay with Alessandro and Diego was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 minutes, … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights, 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Thanks for a great stay!

The host was flexible with check in time which was amazing. Their home was very clean. The balconies are gorgeous and we enjoyed our morning coffee while relaxing on it. The best part was the bed. Full linens, comfortable pillows and soft, plump bed along with a duvet. Probably the best sleep I had while visiting Italy. I would stay here again if I’m ever in the area and will recommend same to my friends and family.

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

It was an incredibly warm and soulful welcome! They met us at the station and drove us home. Upon arrival, gifts from the hosts awaited us: local biscuits, truly delicious! We would like to tell you about the house itself - when you are here, don't be surprised if everything around you is made of marble! We entered a family home, with a marble staircase, where a set of bathrobes and shower products had been prepared for each of us. Love and care were felt in every object in the house. It was an incredibly clean and well-kept house, and we really hope to be able to return! In addition, Elena introduced us to a couple of sculptors and we had the opportunity to visit a studio where marble is worked and masterpieces are created that can now be seen in different corners of the world. It was an extraordinary experience — thank you very much to Elena and her husband!
