It has two bathrooms and bedrooms in addition to a living room and kitchen. The apartment is within walking distance of the city center, supermarket, bakery, butcher and delicatessen shops and only 10 minutes by bike to the beach of Scheveningen. The entire house has been recently renovated, preserving as many original details as possible.

This place is ideal for visiting the cities of Leiden, The Hague, Delft, Amsterdam & Rotterdam. The nearest beaches are Wassenaarse slag & Scheveningen, both a short distance away and easily reached by bicycle or by car. Public transport is a 3-minute walk away. Bakhuisje on the Lek

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Slechts een steenworp van het strand vind je dit "vakantie" huis. Een huis om tot rust te komen. Het huis bevat alles wat je nodig hebt voor een volledig ingericht verblijf. Romantisch verblijf voor 2 maar leent zich ook voor ouders met 1 of 2 kinderen. Of 3 volwassenen. Er is in het woon gedeelte een bank als extra slaapplek. (In slaapkamer extra matras mogelijk). Er is parkeergelegenheid voor onze gasten bij het huis, de kosten zijn 20,- per nacht). Er is koffie en thee beschikbaar.

Enjoy this monumental cottage located on the Vliet, right next to the bridge. The cottage is the living area of a former farm, used for years as a bridge keeper's post. The bridge is now operated remotely, so the cottage lost its function. Now it has become a wonderful and beautiful place to enjoy life by the water. From the cottage, you have a spacious view over the Vliet
