Cosy Cottage in the mountains

Der Troadkasten ist ein alter Getreidespeicher, ein traditonell gezimmertes Hozhaus, das wir liebevoll zum gemütlichen Chalet umgestaltet haben. Das Häuschen befindet sich direkt auf unserem Bio-Bergbauernhof auf 1100 m Seehöhe und bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Dein Rückzugsort für eine ruhige Auszeit oder Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge im Naturpark Almenland in der Steiermark. Hunde sind gerne willkommen, es laufen Hühner, Katzen und Hofhund Luna frei am Hof herum.

Guests in winter: This house is only heated by wood-burning stoves, please only book for winter if you are familiar with this type of stove. Vacation house "Monika Am Masenberg" in Vorau is a good choice for a short vacation with mountain view. The two-storey accommodation consists of a living room, a large kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and toilet and a guest toilet and can accommodate 10 people. Wi-Fi is available on site. A baby crib can be provided on request for a fee.

This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

Keth’s trailer in the nature

A hut in the nature, with a wood oven there can heat the hut up, there is a dry toilet and cold water from our own source (not in the winter.) There is a little stream nearby where you can find the fireplace. There is a outdoor shower, with gas, so you have warm water. We have some animals around the farm, and Stefan build a nature playground out of wood from our own forest. There is also a meeting room with a normal toilet and a fridge. This you can use, if it is not rent out.

Viele Ausflugsziele sind mit dem Auto in 1 Stunde erreichbar: Neusiedler See, Mariazell, Hohe Wand, Rax und Schneeberg zum Wandern uvm.

At our location Almwiese there are 2 cabins about 5 minutes' walk from each other. Each of the two cabins nestles into its own cozy corner of the expansive meadow. Your gaze drifts over lush green fields, picturesque alpine pastures down to small villages. Surrounded by a forest, you may spot deer, squirrels, or wild hares during a walk. From time to time, Japanese cattle graze in a pasture belonging to the neighboring farm.

Das Ferienhaus ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten jeglicher Art - sowohl in den Sommermonaten als auch im Winter.
