Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Waianae

If you have a larger group looking for a quiet, beautiful relaxing stay, this is your place! This property is in what looks to be a newer gated development. Although we didn't use the clubhouse, it was really nice to have the option for a gym and a pool. The host was accommodating and responsive. The house was well appointed with the necessities, comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 10. It is a short drive to a beautiful beach where we spent an ample amount of time. All in all, it was a great value and would stay again!

This place is incredible - do it, you won’t regret your time. Definitely better than the photos. Very close to town and food.

We would highly recommend Cary’s place and will definitely come back! It is spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and in a great location. It’s Literally 1 block from one of the best beaches in the world. The house itself is large and comfortable, with dining tables, couches , 3 bathrooms etc. the house is really well stocked - everything to cook, AC units everywhere, and so many beach toys (wagons, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc). Cary was also super responsive and helpful even with restaurant and other recommendations. The house could use a few minor maintenance repairs but nothing significant.

Brooke’s place was perfect for my partner and I plus daughter and niece. We were able to cook in the kitchen with sharp knives other good kitchen amenities but also appreciated that there were plenty of dining out options very close by. Kailua and adjacent beaches are clean, friendly and beautiful! It felt safe for the teenagers to spend hours on their own. All around great experience with Brooke being very easy to reach and helpful with recommendations for hikes, shops and restaurants.

Loved Lindsay’s little cozy spot near the beach! It was great for my family of 5!(all young kids I should say) walking distance to some amazing food trucks and beach views! We will definitely stay there again over a busy hotel :) Very responsive and timely ! Clean! Stocked with everything we needed! And the WiFi was faster than our previous hotels which my working husband was thankful for!

We loved the place. It was a little confusing getting to the place since all the surrounding streets have the same name, but once we found it, it was amazing! Perfect for us!

This location is just perfect. My tip to avoid paying the expensive parking in the building is to drive around the place looking for a street parking. We found street parking almost everyday, walking time around 15min. It is small but it has all you need :)

Great location. Less than 100 steps to Turtle beach. Recently renovated and everything was as described. There was no dishwasher, so longer stays would mean dishwashing chores. The on site manager was great with instructions and communication.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s place! The view was even better than in the pictures, and there were even more amenities than were listed (including the WiFi, TV, and a washer/dryer). It’s in a perfect location, and we plan on coming back to Tom’s place! You can’t go wrong booking here.

A great a place to stay in Waikiki. Super clean and great amenities. Very walkable to the beach and restaurants.

This was an excellent Airbnb that had everything we needed while staying in Waikiki. The convenience of having a little kitchen allowed us to cook and store some meals which was very helpful for our family. The location was excellent, and very close the International Marketplace and walkable to the beach. The amenities were excellent in this apartment, as it even had a beach mat and beach umbrellas for us to take to the beach. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and communicative. The view was amazing, as we could sit on the balcony and clearly see Diamond Head and the ocean. Only downside to the apartment was that street sound seemed to travel and same with other neighbouring apartments. All in all a great stay, and we would stay here again.

This place was perfect for my needs. Some things I especially liked are: the overhead fan, keyless doors (especially good to not need to carry keys when swimming in the ocean), the rice cooker, and the blender for making cold drinks. I got around using the bus. This location is convenient to both the beach and the bus stops.

I would recommend this place 100% to anyone visiting O’ahu! This was my husband and I’s first trip to Hawaii and the location was beyond perfect for us. We got to explore the north shore and the whole island at our own pace, stay in a laid back yet beautiful community, and walk to the Ritz Carlton for coffee every morning, explore the many trails connected to the property, and even found several more hidden beaches around. Close to many great food spots, we especially loved 7 brothers, the food trucks, and Ted’s Bakery. We reached out to Priscilla a hand full of times and she messaged back immediately answering all questions and giving us wonderful recommendations! The AC worked amazingly to cool the place down quickly when we came home each afternoon, the washer and dryer were awesome, and we utilized the beach chairs and towels every day!! This place went above and beyond my expectations and we are already talking about visiting again in the future!

This stay was amazing. It was definitely kid friendly and very private. Having two children that are in the Spectrum we were very scared of how they were going to act with a new environment at the end Both my kids and our family were very happy and impressed with everything. It was very peaceful and comfortable. It had everything that we needed for the vacation and it was very quiet at night. Also the parking spot was perfect. We had our own parking spot. We were not looking for anywhere to park and it was very convenient right next to our room. It also made us feel safe. Definitely will be staying here again on our next vacation!

This place is such a steal! Great price and in walking distance from the beach and a bunch of great restaurants. Take’s food recommendations were so good and we had an amazing time. Best part was coming home to the nice AC set to the perfect temp after a day in the sun! Highly recommend :)

Amazing place to stay in Honolulu! 7 min walk to Iolani palace and 2 min walk to Marugame Udon! Extremely clean which is the most important part to me as a characteristic of where I stay. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. I think my partner is going to try to buy the same exact pillows and bed now lol. I loved that we could sign into our own streaming services. The free included parking was a GODSEND! Don’t underestimate how critical that is as a cost-savings when staying in Honolulu or Waikiki. Parking is so expensive. Also only 12-16 minutes to the airport without traffic. We loved that we didn’t have to fight Waikīkī weekend traffic to get to where we were staying.

We had a great stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed — fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, and a small AC unit that kept things cool. The host was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

Excellent choice for a stay in Honolulu! The place is fantastic. Highly recommended. King bed is luxurious. Very comfy and homey. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Parking in building is extra 33$/day but so convenient. I would absolutely stay again if ever in Honolulu.

Great place! Feels like you’re right at the resort. You’re the farthest condo from the beach but still not a long walk. Easy drive to any beach in the area. Amazing location for private and calm surroundings. Frances did a great job communicating with us and giving recommendations!

We loved our stay in Litan’s condo. It was spotless, spacious and modern. It had everything we needed and was the best condo we have stayed at in the complex. We loved the location with the option of pools or beach within walking distance as well as lots of green space and nice walks. Litan was a great host.

We had a wonderful vacation!Murial was absolutely fantastic and so easy to communicate with she went above and beyond! We will be back!

My kids loved this Airbnb. The pool and pickle ball court were definitely pluses. The unit was perfect for our needs and the AC worked great! The unit was clean and well maintained and the hosts were great at answering questions and responding right away. Will definitely be back!
