Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Waikato District

The Range View Cottage was a perfect tranquil retreat. The view from the outdoor seating area, and large windows from inside, was so green and beautiful. It was lovely to arrive to a spotless yet comfortable cottage, and the welcome loaf of bread and bottle of wine was an added bonus. Everything you could need is provided. Personally, it was nice to be a little away from the surf and tourist vibes of Raglan (one does need a car though if they plan to get into Raglan or to hit the beach and surf). Overall I would recommend the Range View Cottage to anyone!

Stunning place with an amazing view surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our whānau are in awe every time we come back. The fire place makes the home even more bitter sweet. This whare influences me to buy my own. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway off grid - this is the place! 😍

Staying at this house in Raglan was a true escape from time. From the moment I walked in, I felt an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, as if the outside world had simply faded away. The house itself is a rare gem: warm, welcoming, and instantly making you feel at home and at ease. Every detail seems thoughtfully designed to inspire deep relaxation. And the view… absolutely magical. A truly special place, perfect for anyone seeking to recharge their batterie. A huge thank you to Muzz, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable, even setting up the spa for me at the last minute!

Great location and nice clean home with a good layout for how many rooms there are. Nice to have a soak in the hot tub after long days exploring and surfing! Also a gorgeous view of the water from the deck and living room. We will be back again for sure!

Megan’s place was a great home away from home for our family plus dog while we painted our home. Good variety of cook wear. Room for our young boys and dog. Friendly neighbour.

Lovely, caring hosts, who very kindly left us some breakfast, homemade lemonade and cookies! Great location for a family with kids, with a small, beautiful, self-contained garden a 2min walk to a park with a playground. Supermarket cafe and pub a 10-min walk away.

Waking up with a bright smile touched by the beautiful morning sun, the breathtaking view and marvelous sunsets made our stay at this magical spot an unforgettable experience. We thank Cass and Nikki so much for the warm welcome and the perfect communication - we couldn’t have had a better final flourish traveling through this exceptional country! This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

Perfect base in Cambridge to explore the region. Real home with a wonderful host and lovely pets. Super comfy bed, nice house and in walking distance to grocery, shops and parks. I would happily come back! Thanks for having me and our beautiful evening talk 🙏🏾

The property is beautifully presented, in a very quiet and picture perfect location. We had a wonderful time, and surprised ourselves with the good rest we all had. The living space and outdoor area are massive, and it is a very perfect location for a weekend away.

Beautiful, clean house which was very centrally located. The check-in instructions were very clear and it was easy to find. We stayed with two children (aged 7 years and 9 years) and the house worked really well for this.

Carol-Ann was a wonderful host to me and my partner. The property is beautiful, lovely gardens and super cool house. We felt very welcome there and made great friends with her cat. There is also a nice view of the hills from the house, Maungatautari etc. Very close to cambridge, and all its cafes, and Carol-Ann prepared us breakfast every morning with her home made bread. Thank you Carol-Ann for a wonderful stay!

We had a huge week looking after a school group while staying at Jacqui's place and the only negative was that we could not spend more time at her place around the pool or enjoying the incredible grounds

How lucky were we! Close to shops, a quick drive to the lake. Such a beautiful home inside and out that makes you feel right at home. We had eight people and still had plenty of space. 3 bathrooms! A very spacious kitchen! Outdoor areas! We were there for an event at karapiro.. but I think I enjoyed being at the house more! Its just so peaceful. Nick is a brilliant host, very responsive and friendly. 10/10 Highly recommend!
