Apartment holiday rentals in Wailea-Makena

This condo worked well for us. We were traveling with family who had rented other units in this complex. We liked ours best, due to its updated/well-stocked kitchen, paper/toiletry supplies, two bathrooms, wide lanai, convenient parking, comfortable bed, generous square footage, and beach/snorkeling gear. We enjoyed the absolute quiet (this unit is away from the road), but found lots to do, especially in the excellent main pool area and on the relatively-wide beach, with easy snorkeling and walking options (Wailea luxury resorts to the left; natural beauty to the right). If you're looking for family-friendly green space and don't mind a longish walk to the main pool/beach, consider this property. If you have mobility issues that make walking difficult or need onsite restaurants, high-end furnishings and spa-like baths, you might not be happy here. We found it very comfortable. It was evident to us that Jazlyn has put a lot of thought into meeting her guests' needs. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location and setting. Very well organized and equipped. Especially nice bathroom and kitchen. She was also very thoughtful on the smaller details too, such as hooks to hang towels, clothes line in tub, non scented cleaning products . Also Very nice setup on the lanai

We had the most lovely stay at this resort! Jordan’s place is exactly like the photos and is beautifully private. While you cannot exactly see the ocean from the condo—the trees and foliage has now grown too high—we loved opening the late sliding doors and listing to the ocean whenever we were at the home. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and we loved having access to all of the coffee and appliances supplied. The walk to the beach is easy and the pool has all the amenities you can imagine. There a many places to eat, grab coffee, and activities in a close drive to the location. We did see a singular cockroach inside near where a screened window was ajar. Jordan was very responsive when we message him about this. We had absolutely no concerns about the cleanliness of the condo throughout the rest of our stay. Overall, this was a tropical luxury stay perfect for a honeymoon filled with privacy and easy access to all things one could want in Maui.

I had an excellent stay here with my girlfriend. The Airbnb is very spacious, and also is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Laurie has the Airbnb well stocked with supplies. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location, allowed me to do an early check in and very quick at responding. Pool was private and grounds are beautiful. Quick walk to the beach, private patio, spacious living room, beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, easy parking, a ton of stuff to do in area. Would book again without question !

Wow! Let me start by saying… just book it! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and hospitality that Kate & Mark pour into this space. Every detail, from the thoughtful goodies to the stunning decor, is curated to perfection. The design is both aesthetically pleasing and inviting, instantly making you feel at home. We stayed at the Fairmont for the first part of our trip for business, and honestly, we both agreed—this place felt even more prestigious! My wife loved the bed sheets so much that she had to look them up, and they are now sitting in my Amazon cart, ready to purchase when we get back home. Another standout feature was the tablet they provide—it’s incredibly helpful and packed with all the information you could ever need to enhance your stay. Kate & Mark truly know what they’re doing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful place to stay. The views from the balcony are amazing! The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. We walked down the beach a couple of times and were able to see turtles that were resting on the sand. The swing is a great touch and great to relax in. Jeremy is very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This residence at Makena Surf was outstanding. It's just steps from a great beach and great snorkeling just off shore. The lanai provided the perfect spot to sit and watch/listen to the surf on the beach and watch for whales. The interior of the residence is recently updated and very nice. One of the best places we've stayed in Hawaii overall - highly recommend!

The perfect spot to stay for an adventure filled Maui vacation. It is centrally located on the island where there are multiple food trucks, restaurants, and a grocery store in walking distance. The place is at an intersection of 2 somewhat busy streets but the street traffic was not heard inside. The apartment owner has a big map of Maui hanging up with about 20 suggested locations to visit which we found to be very useful as we did a 5-day self-guided tour of the island. I would stay here again for future Maui vacations.

Misti was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions or queries we had. Great location with many amenities and restaurants within a short walking distance. And the King bed was quite comfortable and greatly appreciated. Most 1 bd/1ba condos on Maui utilize a queen size bed for some reason. Would book again anytime

Beautiful place and area. Right on the beach, which was amazing. Lots of towels, no need to bring your own shampoo, etc. as those are provided. Well stocked kitchen too. Beach chairs, etc. were also provided. Great trip! We will be back!

this is the best Airbnb on the island! amazing neighborhood close to everything! it felt safe and had a hometown feel. everyone was so friendly. the place itself had everything we needed and the view was incredible! much better than the picture! when our host realized we didn't have beach towels he made sure some were delivered and we were thrilled to come back and see like 6 brand new thick beach towels!! having the washer and dryer in the unit made things so easy too! can't say enough great things about this place and the hosts ! we will be booking here for our next trip! 10/10 recommend!

Gary's place is beautiful! The description on the listing does not do it justice. The Nanea is a dream resort with everything you need. I would stay here again, without hesitation.

This place is an absolute oasis. The freedom to walk a mere few steps directly into the Pacific Ocean was bliss. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every dollar and I definitely intend to return some day. Highly recommend.

We stayed from June 5-12 and saw soooo many sea turtles from the lanai. Not sure if you can see them year round or just during this time, but it was a real highlight for us! We loved the 5th floor view, both rooms are very comfortable and accommodated two couples well. They have three AC units in the apartment that made it comfortable to sleep at night without getting too hot. The complex has a heated pool that is open until 9PM and scarcely used by others during our visit. They also had beach essentials like folding chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and towels that made our beach trips luxurious! We will definitely look to rent this place again for our future trips to Maui!

Amazing spot and stay

We had a fantastic experience staying here. The check in and check out was easy and the grounds of the condos are really well kept and beautiful.

Our place was very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Location was terrific as well, with beautiful beaches close by. A short drive to many restaurants. Christopher reached out to help us if we needed anything. This was our first experience with Airbnb, and definitely a positive one!

The condo featured everything we could hope for to enjoy the beaches and our vacation with a baby including full kitchen equipment, various baby chairs, toys, a bathtub and beach equipment (umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, beachwaggon...). We really liked the interior design, it made us feel more at home.

This condo was perfect for my stay in Wailea. Very clean , comfortable & all the amenities you need. Pool & parking are right across from the entrance. Unit was very quiet for sleeping and relaxing. Location is perfect for everything in Wailea. Karissa was great communicating all information, and even allowed me an early check-in knowing I had a red eye.

Kalea’s was alway available to answer questions very quickly. The condo was very well taken care of and had everything we needed. Loved the location and area much different than Kanapali as it’s much closer to other areas of the Island to explore. The lights and fan can be tricky at times but remember your own Hawaiian time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect for Exploring Maui! This was our first trip to Maui, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The location was central to everything, making it so easy to get to all our planned activities and food spots. Whether heading to the Road to Hana, hanging at the beaches or having dinner, this Airbnb made it all convenient. The space itself was well-equipped, just the right size for two. While it may not be ideal for a group of 3, it had everything we needed, plus an unbeatable ocean view that made every morning feel magical. On top of all that, the host Sarah and Joe were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. 10 stars if we could give them! We absolutely loved our week here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Maui. Mahalo!!

We had a wonderful stay here for our daughter’s 1st birthday adventure! The place was perfect for our family of three. It was beautiful with an incredible amount of natural light. The place was super clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including a pack-and-play and a high chair for our baby girl. It was a great place to cool down and relax after days out exploring, and the location made it easy to get around. The home had everything we could have asked for and more. We had a great time making memories.
