The small rural town Fairlie is only 8-10 minutes away from our place and has great shopping, restaurants and of course the famous Fairlie Bakehouse. Lake Opuha is a great local hotspot in summer for boating and water activities, while Mt Dobson or Roundhill are great ski fields to visit in winter
