Just 100 meters from the beautiful Diemelsee is our great vacation home in a beautiful secluded location. The 80 square meter living space is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom, hallway, guest toilet and a spacious living room with kitchen and dining table. A highlight is the spacious sauna in the house. The great sunny balcony and terrace with seating and lake views invite you to relax and unwind. Sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth hiking, skiing or mountain biking.

The vacation home is about 90 square meters and can accommodate 2-6 people, spread over 3 bedrooms. On the first floor is the modern furnished living-dining room with open kitchen, a pellet fireplace, a bedroom and the shower room. The kitchen offers all amenities with a dishwasher, oven, coffee maker and toaster. On the upper floor, there is a large bedroom with panoramic windows and an extra sofa bed. The reinvention of the old forester's lodge from 1964 was completed at the end of 2022. We have furnished the rooms as we would like to spend our holidays ourselves and have lovingly taken care of many details so that you will feel very comfortable with us.

The house on the outskirts invites you to a quiet and relaxing holiday. Directly at the (100 m) house is the Edersee cycling path. The Waldecker Land offers many hiking and cycling trails. We are located between Edersee, Diemelsee and Twistesee, they can be reached by car in 25 minutes. They invite you to sail, dive, water ski or just swim. There is also much to discover in Kellerwald National Park. The towns of Willingen and Winterberg are about 35 minutes away.

Half-timbered house with loft bed

A small half-timbered house sleeps 4 - 5 people. On the first floor are the entrance area and the kitchen, upstairs the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm. In addition, there is a loft bed level for two people, 140 cm above the living room. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 1 person. The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

Centrally located in the beautiful Edertal in the Kellerwald National Park. Only 5 minutes' drive from Lake Edersee and 10 minutes from Waldeck Castle, which offers a beautiful view over Lake Edersee as well as the national park. Here you can relax in peace, lie in the garden or take advantage of the many possibilities of the third largest reservoir in Germany. Stand-up paddle and bicycle can be rented on site at an extra cost and deposit.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
