Cabin holiday rentals in Wallowa

The day before we were originally supposed to check in my husband suffered a medical emergency and we were forced to cancel our trip. Jeff graciously honored our reservation and allowed us to reschedule at a later time that suited us. Most rental entities would have either told us sorry that is too bad or maybe refunded a portion of the reservation. To us, Jeff's actions spoke volumes about his character and really took the pressure off us during an already difficult time. Once we were able to finally reschedule, WE HAD A BLAST!! The cabin was so cozy, clean and very well laid out. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and it truly was a home away from home. The location was perfect...quiet enough to enjoy all that nature has to offer and also close enough to restaurants, grocery store, sight seeing opportunities, etc. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We would love to visit again!!

The house and the location worked perfect for our wine weekend getaway. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of wine tours. There was a good selection of games that we found and utilized one evening. All together, this house worked perfect for us.

Looks even better than the photos! Very private, loved the view from the hot tub. You're right in the heart of the woods with easy access to the tram up the mountain, horseback riding, restaurants, mini-golf and even go carts are within walking distance. Joseph is the nearest town and has anything you could need. The nights get naturally chilly, great for a snug night of sleep, and the wrap-around porch gives great visibility to nature, a variety of birds, and the majesty of Lake Wallowa. Would absolutely stay again.

What a fantastic cozy and clean place. The deck over looking the lake is amazing and the hot tub was fantastic for a morning coffee and lake view. We were there to fish and having the dock was fantastic so we didn’t have to use the boat ramp daily. Cindy was awesome and responsive. One day we couldn’t figure out the hot tub and she sent someone right over to get it back to temp for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Really nice place to stay!

This lakefront house was perfect for our long weekend. We rented this and another Vacasa home just a few doors down and both homes were exactly what we needed. The view from the deck was perfect from sunrise to sunset and the neighboring homes had friendly visitors. We had one dog who navigated the stairs fine in this home and we appreciated the ability to block the deck exits so he could stay confined with us while we enjoyed meals on the deck. The dock worked well for our boats and the fishing was fantastic. We absolutely would stay in this home again.

Great little cabin with everything one would need to relax and enjoy the area for a few days! Shower was a little small but amazing pressure so no complaints there. Close enough to the lake we could walk to plus all the other little attractions and shops in the area.

From the pictures this house seems a bit dark, but it's bright, immaculately clean, and well equipped for your needs. This is a great spot to stay for outdoor activities! Wonderful location for us to have our own space while being close to family for the holidays. Was so nice to have the gas fireplace adding to the coziness. Quick note: if you're staying here in the winter, you need to plan for the weather (i.e. 4-wheel drive, chains, etc ). Highly recommend!

We loved our peaceful weekend at Todds cabin. Todd was very responsive to communication. Cabin was easy to find and was exactly how he described it in the listing. We walked the property a bit and enjoyed our time outside. Our dog LOVED the area and felt right at home too. We look forward ti staying again sometime.

This place was absolutely amazing and everything we needed! It’s in such a serene and gorgeous place! It was private and the perfect place to hang out. Bernard was so helpful, always answering questions, and had so many bonus things for us to use while we stayed. He truly helped us have a perfect weekend!

We enjoyed our stay! This cute little place feels private, but is close enough to walk to the campground/lake, horseback riding, and other activities the area has to offer. Upon arrival, the house was very clean. Janet was very proactive in making sure we had what we needed for our stay and was very accommodating to our requests. The house matched pictures and description. The only thing that made the stay a little challenging was a lack of bathtub for the little one. We enjoyed our time and will be back. This is the perfect place for a little family and a dog.

We had a great stay. Loved sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and enjoying the beautiful river and surroundings. It was comfortable and clean and how they great cabin feel to it.

Cute and comfortable cabin with all the amenities needed. It was close to our outdoor activities and allowed for a warm and restful recharge before going out again. The hosts understand what is needed for a relaxing mountain stay, in any weather.

The location was beautiful and a peaceful walk to all the fun in Wallowa Lake. I would rent this house again.

Riley was very quick to respond and extremely friendly. Instructions were clear on how to get to the house and use the different appliances. House was very clean with a VIP view of the delta flowing into the lake. Definitely secluded - make sure you bring all your food/drink with you since there aren't any grocery stores nearby (a few minutes' drive back into Joseph is always possible though). We went kayaking (JO Paddle - definitely recommend if you don't have your own equipment); it was a shame the tram was not open but would have been a great activity to do nonetheless; and minigolfing. Hiking around Chief Joseph trail was also a memorable adventure for our kid as we gawped at the fiery BC falls. And when the day comes to an end, we really appreciated relaxing with a session in the sauna and playing the different board games stashed in the house. Spent some much needed quality family time - will definitely be coming back.

We have stayed a few times at the cabins. They are our go-to when staying in this area. So cute and comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay at Wallowa. The home was clean, large and comfortable. The huge deck and outdoor kitchen were a perfect place to gather

We enjoyed a wonderful four night stay in this sweet cabin. It was very well stocked with everything we needed from a wireless speaker to kitchenware, appliances and utensils. We had a wonderful time lounging on the deck and grilling. There was plenty of propane when we were there. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The walls are very thin, but that wasn’t a problem for our group. We had plenty of space to lounge around and play boardgames together. All in all we had a great time cooking and exploring the area. The lake is so close and we swam and fished. We saw deer and foxes next to the house. Our kids could walk to putt putt golf, go karts an arcade and ice cream. We were very happy with our stay! We would happily stay again!

Great stay for larger groups, very scenic but also super close to all Joseph has to offer. We had a great time!
