Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Walton-on-the-Naze

Our group of six—two adults, one young adult, and three teenagers—had a very comfortable stay at Lesley’s lovely home. It, indeed, felt very much like a home and not just a rental property. There was ample space for all of us, and it was great to have three toilets and two showers. The location is superb—a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the riverfront, which we enjoyed strolling along in the evening. A great place for a larger group to stay in Wivenhoe!

Katharine has a lovely house & garden in the centre of charming Woodbridge. Its very stylishly furnished, with an immaculate bathroom & has all the essential mod cons. The only drawback to its central location is the on-street parking, which can be quite competitive! However, the Theatre Street pay car park is only just round the corner.

Absolutely beautiful, location is peaceful and picturesque. The property is well equipped, comfortable and just stunning. Will definitely be coming back here again!!

This was our second stay at this wonderful property. The location is amazing and the area is so peaceful. The garden is an absolute sun trap. The property was so clean, the beds are really comfortable, lots of little extras that make it a complete home from home. We are already discussing our next visit, this will be a regular rental for our family, we love it.

We really loved our stay at the cottage. It’s very generous on space, very comfortable and immaculately clean and tidy. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We would most definitely like to visit again.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Highly recommend the house and the host. It was the perfect place to stay, beautifully furnished, very comfortable bed, lovely garden and Jackie was a delightful host.

We can highly recommend staying here. We knew that our hosts were just next door if we needed anything but they left us to enjoy our stay. The accommodation was stunning and high quality. Set in peaceful countryside. Dog friendly and secure decking area ment we could bring the pups with us and many of the local attractions are also dog friendly. Wonderful welcome hamper and milk in the fridge was an extra little touch that was greatly appreciated. Thanks for such a enjoyable stay! xx

Beautiful apartment and well thought out. Shared garden space is huge and again beautifully designed and well thought out and importantly for us secure. Our doggies loved it too. So near to the beach we could swim and dry off back at the apartment. A short walk and you have all the great bars and restaurants Mersea offers. Kelly is a great host ,very responsive and accommodating.

Wonderful werkend stay and close by to amenities which suited elderly mum Exactly as described and was clean and peaceful, walking distance to great restaurant to celebrate birthday Everything that was needed was provided lots of space and great to have the garden space

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely flat. Exceptionally clean with the kitchen fitted out with everything that you would need for a self catering holiday if so desired. I slept on the sofa bed which was very comfortable and my mother had the double bed in the lovely large bedroom (the pictures do not do it justice). The flat is within two minutes walk to the beach and small town which has a nice selection of small restaurants and pubs (East Coast 5 was a favourite). Would definitely stay here again.

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

Lovely self contained room with its own shower room/toilet. Teresa met us when we arrived and ran through everything we needed to know. There was everything we needed for the night and Teresa was helpful with the breakfast and drinks she supplied as we were leaving early. The room was in the perfect place for us, 2 minutes from our event the next day and 20 minutes drive to Felixtowe beach (where we went for a few hours) Would happily have stayed more nights and wouldn't hesitate to rebook if we were heading down that way again.

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

Cannot fault these lodges or michelle as a host. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the lodges definitely have that added feel of luxury. Will 100% be returning. Thank you apple tree lodges for a perfect break. Beautiful lodges in a beautiful location.

The Annex was a wonderful place to stay, set within beautiful grounds. Clean and comfortable, the unique property provided a tranquil base from which to explore the stunning landscape. The owners, Malahat and Roger,were helpful and friendly but never invasive. The garden and extensive grounds were amazing. I sat and watched deer, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites, buzzards, and listened to owls, cuckoos, blackcaps and white throats. I left feeling refreshed and somewhat restored.

Had a great stay at Katy’s space. Everything was clean, comfortable and matched the description and we enjoyed the goodies Katy stocked the kitchen with to get us going! Great location - very close to everything we needed. If I was ever in Walton or Essex again would be happy to stay again. Communicating with Katy was very easy and she was happy to help with any questions!

We enjoyed a lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. Very clean and comfortable with added personal touches. The gin was delicious and we really enjoyed the bits provided for breakfast. Excellent communication from Sam and all questions answered within minutes. This is a place that is prepared for with extra care and has everything you need for a relaxing break.

Our stay at Pond View was peaceful and relaxing. Access to the site was easy but secure. The accommodation was just right. And Christopher was a great host.

Emma and her family made my stay ultra welcoming and the place was a perfect hideaway whilst I got started with my new job. Emma was always on hand and responded to every question quickly and never made me feel like anything was an effort The place was clean, quiet and well placed for getting into London. Witham has a host of nice restaurants (El Pulpo being my fave), Freeport designer village is up the road and beautiful countryside is only 5 minutes drive. Can’t recommend the place enough and was a lovely experience from start to finish.

Great place in prime location on the seafront . Place was bigger than expected and had everything you could need and more for a week’s stay . Really clean and tidy . Plenty of treats left for us and the dogs . Overall really happy with apartment and location . Will definitely stay again .

It's a really beautiful flat. Everything is elegant and stylish as well as comfortable. Very clean and decorated to a very high standard. The only thing I missed was some hangers and a full size ironing board and iron - I wear dresses and like to be able to hang them up. A large chest of drawers is provided but not really suitable for dresses. Lovely little outdoor suntrap with table and chairs. Great shower too!

I had a wonderful stay at Beverley and Vincent’s place. It was located in the beautiful countryside and perfect for the peace and quiet. The hosts made me feel very welcome and were always responsive and eager to help if I needed. They also gave me privacy as well. The annex was a great stay, very clean and lots of amenities. It got a bit cold at times but electrical heaters and blankets were provided. I also enjoyed periodic visits from their cats, Elvis and Remy! Elvis is very friendly but Remy is a bit shy ☺️ Overall, a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it if you were looking for a countryside getaway!

Great weekend in Colchester visiting friends the flat itself is very clean and tidy I found it very quiet and peaceful in the evenings close to a large supermarket about 10 minutes drive from the town centre and about 30 minutes from the beach I would happily stay here again
