Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Wānaka

Everything was provided and I was able to stay comfortably. As mentioned in other reviews, since the house is located on a hill, if you take the shortest route from the town center to the house, you'll need to go through a steep path, so you need to have strong legs and good physical fitness.

The view is fabulous from the windows and the deck. The apartment is cozy and well equipped for cooking meals to enjoy inside and out. We were very comfortable during our 5+ week stay and really liked the walks by the river as well as other hikes in the area. I highly recommend this lovely apartment.

I stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed the super well appointed apartment very much. It was in a peaceful neighbourhood and the location was best for me. Everything in the apartment worked and Tania’s warm hospitality went beyond the s expectations. Her quick responses to all my enquiries and requests were much appreciated. I would definitely want to stay there again if I were to go to Wanaka again. Thanks Tania for the wonderful time and good memories.

5 mins walk downtown, nice view from the balcony, overall a great place for couple of nights.

Great location—just a short walk to Lake Wanaka and plenty of restaurants nearby. There’s also a supermarket and liquor store within 5 minutes’ walk. The room was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the utensils we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay and a very responsive host for any questions you may have

We had a fantastic stay at Apartment 166. It all starts with the views out across the lake and onto Roy’s Peak, which we highly recommend to anyone visiting. Sitting out on the balcony after completing the hike was a highlight for us. As the for the apartment, well located for a quiet break with a decent walk into town, it has all the required kitchen and bathroom necessities and two very comfortable rooms. Most importantly, our host Hannah was very responsive and even very kindly provided us with beach towels and a blanket for us to take a trip to the lake. Highly recommended.

Grear Place! The location was perfect for exploring the area, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful, the view from the property was stunning, and the facilities were top-notch - everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Fantastic host.. The washing machine and dryer is great so we can have our clothes washed. The kitchen is fully equipped. Even the condiments for cooking. The location is very convenient. 5mins drive and there are lots of restaurants. Linda has also recommended the restaurants and Kika is really good. Linda is always prompt in her response. Highly recommend her place!

We absolutely loved staying at this property! The house itself is impeccably clean and well-maintained, but what truly made it special was the surrounding area. The open field nearby offered stunning autumn views, and on clear nights, we could even see the Milky Way right from the property—a magical experience! Highly recommend this house to anyone seeking both comfort and natural beauty.

Had a lovely stay. Secluded and private with friendly hosts on site. Scenery was absolutely beautiful and the night sky was something else. Very homely feel, the board and card games were great entertainment in front of a nice warm fire. Monopoly deal was a standout, particularly for my partner who nearly won every game. Even managed to catch 5 rainbow trout from the river which I was absolutely stoked with. We only stayed for one night, wish we had longer there to explore and relax.

This is the most striking house in the most beautiful location I have stayed in New Zealand. If you have a big group and are looking for something posh, this is a terrific place. We felt right at home.

The apartment was very clean, tidy, warm and comfortable, was decorated nicely and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and communication with Kate was great. Would happily stay there again.

We could not have loved Wanaka and this condo more! Everything was so clean, located close to the town area, and Alex & Jesper were wonderful hosts! It was 3 days of bliss for us. We would go back in a heartbeat.

This was a very comfortable, well equipped condo. Our rental car was too big to fit in the garage but parking was easy and convenient outside in the designated spaces. Short drive to city center and there is a sidewalk that would allow you to walk if you wanted. We could see the mountains from the patio! Great for our family.

We had a wonderfull time with Crawford and Janet. A lovely couple. The house is very big with a great garden, great view, great bed and shower. Wanaka is also a very nice town with lots of nice places. We highly recommend this place to stay!

Really enjoyed our stay and Belinda was very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. Location is great — short walk to a couple good spots and a short drive to downtown Wanaka. Loved how peaceful it was.

Excellent stay with Kate. Her place is thoughtfully decorated with expansive mountain views and felt like home in Wanaka immediately. Great outdoor balcony overlooking the ranges which a BBQ to enjoy some food and drinks. Kate was an incredible host proactively offering baby essential items for our little one, answering questions we had within minutes, checking in to see how I stay was. The property was kept in immaculate condition, place felt brand new with modern amenities like aircon, heating in all rooms and exceptionally clean which was really important for us travelling with a baby and the wider complex had excellent amenities like tennis courts, spa and gym which was an added bonus for an Airbnb. Highly recommend and great place for a family or anyone to come back home after a day venturing in and around Wanaka
