Amazing cabin with a beautiful view. The hot tub looking over the valley was unbelievable. The cabin had everything that we needed for the long weekend. Would stay here again.

Had a peaceful, relaxing weekend with the family at the cabin! Everyone loved the hot tub and the kids settled right in with the projector / game room. Leah was super responsive and helpful with our questions.

Beautiful space, and the hot tub was a lovely luxury. We went just the two of us, but I'd highly recommend going with a little group and enjoying it for a chill friends or couples weekend!

The house is on the top of a hill overlooking the valley...the view is amazing. Very private, very secluded, but only about 5 miles off the interstate. The host is very quick to respond to messages. This is a great house for a family trip, the layout was perfect. Everybody loved the basement most of all. The hot tub and the shuffleboard were big hits. The refrigerator and the coffee maker were excellent. I’m looking at getting the same coffee maker because we liked it so much. They could use a few more place settings of plates and silverware, a few more utensils. There’s plenty of seating and the WiFi is great. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay! The cabin was situated in the woods, very peaceful and quiet! The house had such a cool, quirky vibe. The hot tub was definitely enjoyable, and the fire pit was a nice touch; we made yummy smores by the fire. Would definitely recommend the AVA cabin to friends and family! :)))

Fantastic, private cabin that is secluded while still being an easy drive to town. Our dog loved the trails on property. Jaclyn is a great host and was very responsive when a thunderstorm knocked out power for a few hours during our stay. We definitely hope to come back in the future!

The property was exactly as described. The place was clean, secluded, lots of books, games, etc. It is quite a way from town, which wasn't an issue for us, but be prepared on your way in, lots of stuff closes fairly early and you might want to bring what you need for the first night, then go town the next day. The ride in is about 12 miles from the main road, 6 of which are gravel, narrow, and winding. The house is goreous and the view from the deck spectactlar. Plenty of windows and glass doors opening to the deck. There are neighbors, very nice people with a dog named Benny, our guy had fun playing with him, he is a very nice boy. If you have a dog, there are places to eat in or near Luray that have outdoor seating and are dog friendly, we ate with the dog at Big Meadows Lodge in the park. Very quiet there, you do hear some road and train noise from across the river but you would barely notice it. We loved our time there and would definitely go back. Thank you Sean and Laura.

Matt's place was beyond expectations. It was so cozy and the bear decor everywhere was so cute! We had everything we needed and then some. the kitchen is beautiful and we enjoyed the serene back porch. The fenced in yard was a major bonus for our pup to enjoy the nature as well. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the grill area as it was raining most of our trip but that would have been a great place to enjoy our dinners. The theater and game room were awesome too. We had one mishap with the propane company locking the propane, so we couldn't use the gas stove and no one could come out to fix it since it was a holiday weekend. Matt immediately remedied the situation by instacarting us an electric 2 burner stove (you're welcome to any future guests that need it😀) . I would definitely recommend Matt and Matt's place and will stay again if ever in the area. Thank you so much for making our vacay great!

This house was the ultimate retreat! If you want a peaceful, secluded place to relax and recharge, this is the rental for you! Amazing views especially at sunrise and sunset. Wildlife abounds. Literally no urban noise at all, just quiet solitude. Don’t let the drive up to the property intimidate you, easily accessible as described with 2WD in the summer. Matt was an awesome host, very responsive! The house itself was spotless and included many welcoming touches. Pictures are completely accurate. Many nice extras included if you are bringing your small kids, including toys, pack and play and high chair. Convenient 15-20 min drive to Shenandoah National Park. We would definitely return to this property!

Jackie’s place was just like a little piece of heaven and tranquility with all the little perks! From comfortable and clean blankets, to a fire ring and swing, and cute phrased signs and such throughout the cabin. We only stayed 1 night but could see spending a long weekend and exploring the local wineries and another visit to Shenandoah Park (the reason we picked her place)! This little A-frame opens up to an updated space with a rustic feel… a must visit! The Grape Escape is off the beaten path and if you need a relaxing recharge this is the place to stay!!

The location is supreme and the house is charming. The ride into town is easy and as to be expected quite beautiful. Perfect house to unplug, unwind, relax and enjoy family time or reconnecting as a couple.

This was such a peaceful, quiet getaway! We spent so much time sitting on the back deck with a book, some tea, and our dog just listening to nature sounds. The house is full of extra amenities. With a full kitchen, books, games, TV, and even a ukulele, we were perfectly happy hanging around the house all weekend. A perfect little weekend cabin!

Amazing view from the deck. The whole house was stocked with everything you would need... lots of kitchen staples, campfire blankets, games, pillows/blankets. The house is the perfect amount of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs, and about a 15 minute drive from Shenandoah National Park entrance. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to returning!

Beautiful cabin and very kid friendly. All the amenities you need when travelling with kids. The cabin matched the pictures and the communication with Keith and Jocalyn was very smooth. It was exactly what we needed. We would for sure book this cabin with them again!

Mike place was a perfect retreat in Shenandoah for my wife and our dog! The house feels rustic but has every modern convenience. It’s close to amazing hiking and delicious restaurants in the small towns around the park. Mostly, it’s great fun just to relax at with the hot tub, gazing stars, or watching for the close by train. Loved it and looking to stay again soon.

What stood out about this amazing home isn’t what is listed on the description but the little things they didn’t mention that made it so welcoming. The kitchen is modern and stocked as well as my own with cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, and extra things like spices. There were night lights in the rooms, which was great for the kids. Cozy fireplace with the wood ready to use. The bathrooms are updated and the bedrooms have cozy bedroom vibes. The hot tub was perfect after a long hike. The sheets and towels are not cheep hotel grade but cozy and soft. Everything about the house just welcomes you in.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in a peaceful, quiet setting. The place is very clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully stocked with books, games, and everything you need for a comfortable getaway. The back porch is the perfect spot to watch a summer storm roll in, and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The owners were kind and responsive — it was my husband’s birthday, and they left a sweet birthday note along with treats for our dogs, and stuff for s’more’s - which was such a thoughtful surprise! The cabin is simple, charming, and well-equipped — we brought our own groceries and enjoyed cooking in the full kitchen (Keurig available; we left a refillable pod for fellow coffee lovers!). Just a heads-up: there’s no tea kettle, so bring one if you prefer not to microwave your water. The stairs to the bedroom are steep, and the rustic wood can give you splinters if you’re not careful. Overall, it’s a lovely and relaxing place to unplug and enjoy nature.
