“Absolutely loved staying here! I stayed for a whole month. Room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. Hosts are super lovely and available if you need anything. I would highly recommend if you are working or visiting someone at Warwick hospital. It is a 5 minute walk.”
Large converted stable space split into two separate sections, giving the traveller the combination of both sleeping and living space. We are located in the village of Leek Wootton which is close to Warwick, Kenilworth, Coventry, Warwick University and Stratford upon Avon. Ideally situated for commuting to JLR, Aston Martin and National Grid. We hope you'll love our place because of the locality and the quirkiness of the conversion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
“This is the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at, and Lynne the best host. We stayed at the Barn for a month and really enjoyed our stay. It's spacious, beautiful and the kind of place where you can stay for weeks without getting stir-crazy, even if the weather's not too good (or a Pandemic is raging outside). We took advantage of the TV with Netflix and played a lot of pool. The wifi was also stable and fast. In addition to those luxeries, you also got all the necessities. The kitchen area downstairs might not seem very big, but we with a microwave with an oven function, the two small fridges and a cooking plate, cooking and storing food really isn't a problem. The fact that the fridge in the room upstairs, where you sleep, is a silent one, tells you everything you need to know about the eye for detail of the hosts. The bathroom was also good, with a modern shower and good air circulation (no damp!). The bed was comfortable and spacious enough for two. One word about the beam: We got used to it after a day or two. It's low enough that you don't run against it by accident, but you high enough you don't have to crawl underneath it. It serves like a nice seperation between sleeping and living area, giving the feel that there are two rooms instead of one. The Barn is located in a small village without any shopping options, but you can get by without a car (as we did). Walking to Kenilworth and shopping there is doable if you're able-bodied. The village itself is quite lovely, and the public footpaths in it and surrounding it are wonderful for having a walk through the English countryside - but do bring hiking gear, or better yet, rain boots. It's hard to overstate how friendly and accommodating the hosts are. When you read the information sheet about the place and the surrounding area, that they provide, you really get the feeling they thought of everything. In the beginning as well as during all the stay, they were extremely helpful and approchable, while always respecting our privacy. I struggle to say anything about this place that is not in superlatives, one small caveat may be the price. We have stayed at cheaper AirBnbs, but it was definitely worth every penny. If it were possible to give 6 stars, we'd give 6 stars. If it were possible to give 7, we'd give 7.”
