We’ve enjoyed staying at Gerrit’s place. Host was friendly and communicated well. House has a lovely little garden 🏡, and beautiful surroundings 🌳🏡. It’s a peaceful neighborhood! highly recommended :)

Cleo and her Co-host Marleen were very welcoming and responsive. We felt at home. Lots of toys and games for younger children. Very cozy house. Naturally beautiful area good for hiking and biking.

Bart and Rachel's apartment is very cozy and personally furnished, you will find everything you need. We felt very comfortable. Location is very good, very quiet and at the same time close to the center. We borrowed bikes and were able to reach everything very well. Highly recommended!

The stay was really great and relaxing. The apartment is centrally located in Amsterdam and well connected to public transport. The apartment is very clean and there is a welcome greeting and small welcome snacks. Tirsa is very friendly and nice in communication. We will be happy to come back.

We were a group of girls at Leon's house. It was really super nice, everything you need and much more! And I liked it a lot. The house was clean and it is really fast to go to Amsterdam by public transport or car. We will be back!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Ana Mer's home was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-maintained the house was. Every detail matched the description perfectly, and it even exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful touches throughout the home made it feel like we were staying in our own home away from home. The space was not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Ana was an excellent host—clear with communication, helpful, and kind, ensuring our stay was seamless. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area while still offering a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of the day. Hugo's place was incredible. Absolutely stunning place and amazing scenery. Very friendly, gave us free waters and beers. Provided good places to eat and was very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a small get away, or just any vacation.

We had an amazing stay at Herwin’s house. The location is great with a beautiful scenery. It’s 30 minutes walk from the ferry station and then 15 minutes to get to Centraal Station. The house is really well furnished and equipped.

Beautiful houseboat and location. Very safe and lots of trails to walk or run. Close to the highway, groceries and water.

We had a lovely holiday at Ingeborg's house. It was spacious for our family and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house had its own jetty by the canal and plenty of room to sit outside and in the patio depending on the weather. We parked our car easily outside the house and went with public transport into town. The only thing that could be noted is that the kitchen could have been better cleaned. But the overall experience was great!

I stayed at this place for 4 days. The surrounding area is beautiful, I just love IJburg. The place is spacious and exactly as described. The outside area with the terrace is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Watching the sunset and the pastel-coloured sky from the terrace alone is worth the money. Even though we did not cook , the kitchen is amazing and well equipped. The beds were cozy and comfortable. Both hosts were very friendly, polite and responsive. Even when a faux-pas happened to us on the last day, it was handled very nicely and luckily it got solved without many issues. I appreciated the understanding way communication a lot. Our stay was perfect. Thank you both.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Amsterdam! It is larger than it looks in the photos, with many nice artistic decorations and advantages (you can watch a drawbridge go up and down from the deck). All the comforts of home plus a very friendly, gracious host. Convenient to the bus, tram, and a nice supermarket-- very easy to get to the attractions in the city, but you also can walk to a pretty small village and bike in the countryside. Note that this is not a good place to stay if you have mobility issues (you have to climb over other boats with your suitcase to get here) or if you really hate spiders (there are a bunch outside, a few inside. My arachnophobic husband was fine, but you will see spiderwebs.) I strongly recommend this place! I always wanted to stay on a boat and it turns out this is a common fantasy... All of your friends will be jealous.

Our family of four absolutely loved our time on the houseboat. The setting is gorgeous and the house is pristine. We did learn quickly that the neighbors can easily see into our boat as we could see them eating at their table when we arrived, so we chose to keep the shades drawn on that side for the duration of our stay. We also ran into an issue with wifi, but the host was responsive & came quickly to help us find an alternative and get reconnected. Overall, we would have loved to have stayed longer, and we will certainly plan to return to this home on return visits to the area.

Beautiful home in a quiet peaceful location. Great for getting together with friends and family! Not very far from Amsterdam, easy access by bus. We would recommend this listing.

This Houseboat is a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay at in Amsterdam. The location is amazing and is right in the best part of town. It is very rustic though so be prepared that you are living on a boat. This means the toilet, shower, water etc so a lot of different rules. The best part about it is the deck on the back. The bed is comfy and sleeps 2. He offers up beer and fresh fruit when you arrive. I would recommend this to anyone for a day or 2.

The accommodation was in a dream, a quiet place where you could relax well. The location to public transport was very good. And Frank was super nice and helpful. 10/10 for anyone who wants a little getaway.

Franky is responsible for the boats in Monickendamm and was absolutely great! He was always nearby or quickly reachable, gave great tips and showed us everything and helped us with everything! Unfortunately, the boat is always in the harbor, but it was still absolutely great and the place in the harbor was great, because the view was great and you can go swimming directly from the boat! The tender boat was also great, and we took a great tour through the canals and to the next town! The connection is great, you are in Amsterdam in 20-25 minutes by bus, which also runs until late in the evening, which means you can save yourself the parking in Amsterdam. Great!

Great stay with my friends

This was quite luxury! 2 older couples travelling together and it was perfect! The host is an amazing human being, the boat is moored with phenomenal views and it is so quiet. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. All four of us highly recommend this location.

The welcome and care on site was great, you were warmly welcomed and knew that you can always reach someone if needed. The houseboat as well as the surroundings invite you to relax and feel at home. We felt super comfortable. We were thrilled and happy to have chosen this houseboat.
