This home is exactly as pictured! It’s absolutely lovely. Our family felt comfortable, it is a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The owner has done an amazing job with the decor, amenities, and just overall making this charming home a great place to stay. I highly recommend!

There are 2 beautiful houses on the property which work perfectly for traveling with extended family and friends or for rental of only one of the houses. The houses are new and thoughtfully designed for family living and relaxation inside and out - the decks are huge and make perfect extensions of the living space! Children of any age would love the place and the back entrances of the houses are accessible for people with limited mobility. Our toddlers loved the creek running through the property and the waterfall and fire pit areas are marvelous. The kitchens were wonderfully stocked with dishes and cooking pots and pans - even an air fryer! There was an old style arcade video game mounted to the wall in both houses - fun! We made day trips to the mountains and enjoyed family dinners on the porches. This is the perfect vacation spot and we will definitely be sharing the location with others and coming back ourselves! We really enjoyed our stay! House is very nice and clean! So peaceful with beautiful surroundings, very relaxing. In a great location, lots to venture out to do outdoors between Knoxville and Nashville and real close to Watts Bar Lake. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to our family and friends.

We came for a rowing regatta and the location was convenient - 13 min away which definitely helped with early 6am starts. The immediate neighborhood is safe, quiet and well kept. I have to commend Morgan on her styling. I am in the design industry and the through line of color and detail she took on this property from home shutters to the entire interior made for a calm, restful and beautiful stay. I live a high stress life and admit, I am impacted by the tranquility and aesthetics of my surroundings. Morgan’s home gave me three days of peace even though I was driving a frenetic family of five and lugging crew gear over 15 hours of to/from commuting.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb experiences ever. This home is pristine, spotless, and in a peaceful and quiet location. We only stayed for a quick overnight visit, but we will definitely stop here again every time we travel through the area. I was alone with my children and arrived late at night, and we felt perfectly safe the entire time. Five stars!

We stayed at a beautiful property in Tennessee, known as “The Treehouse,” and our experience was simply amazing. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly attentive, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. The property was in excellent condition: very clean, well-maintained, and with charming decor that made us feel right at home. The view from the house is breathtaking—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the staircase leading down to the lake was one of our favorite features, offering a peaceful and picturesque walk that truly completed the experience. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a unique and cozy getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Great host! Great value! Everything was easy and smooth right from the starts. No issues whatsoever but if we did have one we were confident they would get back to us extremely quickly.

Volunteer City Getaway is a WONDERFUL place to stay. We stayed for a girls weekend and everyone in the group agreed it was the perfect place, more cost effective than a hotel room and waaaaaay better than a hotel room!!! The apartment has everything essential you need, it was spotless (and I’m a clean freak), in a great location for everything Knoxville, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and floor mattress, good quality linens and kitchen supplies. We will definitely stay here again. Don’t look elsewhere, this place is great!!!!

This is my second time staying at John’s place. It was just as I remembered it. Very peaceful and private. He was super quick to respond and had everything we needed. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

So excited to see the mountains every morning. This is why we came to the area in the first place! Great decor and amount of space for two of us. Comfy bed and cute outdoor space we actually made time to use. If you want a place to decompress this is it! Plus Annie is super cute.

Tony and Barb's guest apartment was cozy, quiet and pleasant. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed available to us, although Barb offered to provide anything else we may need. (There were even bagels and spreads in the 'fridge!) The kitchen is small but offers all full-size appliances, even including a dishwasher. All cooking supplies are supplied as well. The apartment was easy to find, and getting to other places we needed to go (grocery store, restaurant) was convenient. The living room and bedroom are comfortable, and an ample-sized screened porch would be a nice place to relax and enjoy the peaceful back yard. All necessary amenities are available including FireTV and WiFi. It would be a comfortable place for an extended stay. It had the quaint feel of staying at grandma's place but with no dust or clutter!

Super great host! VERY informative and sent photos with all the information we needed, LOVE that! Very comforting, super soft bedding, clean, lovely place to stay. Love the fenced in back yard for our golden retriever to play! 10/10 recommend for sure!

Had the most incredible two weeks here enjoying South Knox while in town performing at the Tennessee Theatre - scooters city limits reach just across the street and Sevier street has so many great spots! The highlight was Landing Health & Performance! Missy was very responsive and helpful and this house had everything we needed!
