Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wausau

The home was perfect for our group of 8 adults during a difficult time after a family loss. We booked last-minute and were able to check in the same day. Jeremy was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout. What meant the most to us was the thoughtful gesture—flowers and a card waiting for us. Truly an outstanding host and one of the best homes I’ve stayed in!

This was our second stay at Brian and Meagan’s. We just love the yard and lake access for us and our Labrador. Had great weather this weekend so spent a lot of time on the deck or down by the lake. Definitely feel comfortable there and plan to stay again in the future.

Very relaxing weekend to get away from the hectic world. Great old world setting with many modern touches.

The place was just like the pictures showed. Very peaceful, scenic and quiet. There was lots of room in the house. The backyard was private and right on the lake. Loved Use the huge fire pit. The kitchen very well stocked. There was recommendations for restaurants and stores in the area. Place is easy to find. We also enjoyed the front large deck as well. If you have kids, there’s plenty of games and boats to use in the lake. We went in fall, so didn’t do any swimming, but still enjoyed the scenic views and the fall colors. Hali checked in with me before and during my stay. I didn’t need anything but I’m sure if I did she would’ve been quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home, very clean. Enjoyed the ping pong and canoe. Great memories made.

Everything was as described. It was nice to be able to choose how many rooms we needed, and we felt very welcomed in this gorgeous home. I grew up nearby and was visiting family. It felt so much more like home than anywhere else I've stayed, and I felt like I was able to give my son more of a glimpse of where/how I grew up. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is amazing! There is everything we needed, even more. They answered all our questions very quickly and explained to smallest details. The view from master’s bedroom on lake is so pleasurable. Definitely recommend, would like to visit one more time!

This place was awesome, great getaway for our girls weekend. Nothing but chill vibes and good times! Beautiful views of surrounding nature and very private. Overall just very enjoyable. Lots of attention to detail and fun things included in the Airbnb - games, records, etc. Location is just a bit out of town but close enough when you want to get a bite to eat or check out the downtown shops. Great location relative to Hartman Creek and Ice Age Trail! Will stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

We were in town for 10 days visiting family. It was all we needed, as we were gone all day, but nice to come to Felicia's place at the end of a busy day. Very quiet, good bed. We would come back agsin.

Feel right at home at this Wausau home. Kitchen is stocked and great coffee options provided. Great Host, truly a gem of your in town!

We were in Wausau for a baseball tournament and wanted a private place for the kids to rest before the tournament the next morning. From booking to arriving everything was smooth and easy. I had to ask the day before to bring our grandson because when we booked it was only the 3 of us. There was no problem with the adjustment. We enjoyed the yard while there and made pizza over the fire. They had a grate to cook on over the fire as well as roasting sticks for hot dogs, s’mores and more. Although our time at the site was short we enjoyed ourselves.

My second year staying here; “Quirky”, a bit unexpected, the first time, but we really liked it. We came back!

Rellis was comfortable and cozy. Great location for downtown strolls or a drive to Lake Shawano or any local attraction. The building is nicely decorated and the bed is AMAZING, with the supported sides and a very nice plush top. I appreciated the ability to adjust the climate to my liking. Smart TV with limited channels but i was there to explore and see Shawano, so the game show channelworked nice. Shower had a nice rainfall head which was nice for people up to 6'4 or so. Would definitely book again upon a return to Shawano.

The Kaboose is really cool, very well remodeled time period wise. the location is steps away from the main road and the driveway, absolutely no privacy. communication with the host was frustrating. I had three communications..one she got back a day later and two she never responded to..both said she read my messages. can't bring your own firewood in, yet none available to us. so we went to kwik trip and got some because she ignored 2 of my messages about that. cool caboose, but wouldn't stay again, campground run down and a loud screaming family present that by reading other reviews looks as though they live there.

This is a quiet, nice place to stay. We had all the amenities we needed for our NFL Draft experience in Green Bay. It is close to stores and shopping. We would stay here again!
