Sue's house was lovely and charming, and a real B&B experience -- sharing a beautiful, peaceful room in a hospitable person's home. She made a very nice breakfast too!

The breakfast was the best part of the stay in my opinion. Farm fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits…delicious! This is a rustic barn, so don’t expect things to be brand new. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, Justin was easy to communicate with and very hospitable. We loved staying here and will be back!

Our stay was all we had hoped for. The location is back in the woods a bit, where it is peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is tastefully done and quite attractive. Sally was an excellent hostess and was responsive in all matters. She even went the extra mile by finding another place for us to stay after we made an error on our reservations. Sally was interesting to talk with and was warm and friendly at all times. All our expectations were met and even exceeded.

This was our second stay with Linda and Putter and we expect more in the future! Highlights for us are the incredible breakfasts, the big bathtub, and the exceptional warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They went the extra mile to make our trip special and we really appreciated it. Everything was comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the stars at night from the balcony. As far as location goes, it's about 30 minutes to an hour to most of the popular hiking destinations on Skyline Drive. We also liked Shenandoah River State Park for a change of pace during peak bluebell season. Linda's food really is the best we've had in the area but we enjoyed West Main Market's sandwiches and beer garden after day on the trails.

Wonderful hosts with amazing hospitality. Worked with me while I checked in late and offered great amenities like coffee and breakfast. I was thrilled with their service and would happily recommend them again!

Martin and Kathy have a lovely Inn. They are super nice and welcoming. My husband and I stayed for two nights to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Fall foliage, which was amazing. Having homemade bread and cakes with a hot brew coffee at the porch chatting with Martin in the mornings made the experience even better. We highly recommend this Inn and will definitely stay again. This is a beautiful historic hotel with modern updates tucked away in the Shenandoah valley. Nearby hiking is about a 10 minute drive, and Staunton offers several options for dining and entertainment only 20 minutes away. Our room was private and cozy with access to shared common areas. The breakfast at the restaurant on sight was a highlight of our whole trip. Get the French toast. You'll be back for more.

This is in a beautiful location, on country roads. Very clean, quiet and just what I needed. Georgi is a super host. Very helpful with local recommendations and did not tire of my many questions!

Amazing stay. Exactly as described and Anne was a WONDERFUL host. Very proactive, friendly & kind. Anne & Mike set up the fire pit for us which was such a nice bonus. And Anne gave us a tour of the Farm Sanctuary where we had the pleasure of meeting the 14 animal friends. This location was great & peaceful. Would highly recommend and we plan on coming back here in the future. Thank you, Anne!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay and breakfast was delicious! The room was immaculate and the bed was comfortable! Walking the farm and feeding the animals was a highlight. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay and even better Hostess!! Susan’s home was so cozy and wonderful and made my time in VA absolutely perfect. She’s is so wonderful, kind and one heck of a cook!! Breakfast was OUTSTANDING both mornings. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this stay, would 100% come back!!

This truly was such a delightful experience. The pictures do not do the location justice. The area is secluded and peaceful, yet all things needed were up to date, clean, and available. Everyone involved was welcoming and friendly and made you feel like you were an old friend. Breakfast was farm fresh egg casserole, bacon, and toast with lots of local jelly, jam, and apple butter selections. We made a day trip of local cideries, and a trip to the bread barn which we highly recommend on a Saturday bread day! We left refreshed and already have plans to return in the future. We highly recommend this location!!!

Wonderful bed and breakfast 5 miles from W&L campus. Accommodations were super clean and the breakfasts were delicious. We would definitely stay here again. Nancy and her husband are so kind and helpful.

This is the best air bnb I’ve ever stayed at! Amber was an amazing host and she went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcome. From the parking instructions (we had a trailer to back in) to the full on gorgeous and delicious breakfast, we were just blown away by the hospitality. The space is thoughtfully curated and very comfy. There’s everything you need, but no clutter. It looks like someone took a picture out of a magazine and made the perfect air bnb. There’s privacy, 2 bedrooms, a private balcony, and private HUGE bathroom plus a shared living room space and dining room/kitchen. We were able to bring our dog and she had a huge yard to run around in. I would give this place 10 stars if I could…don’t pass up on this place!

We had such a wonderful time at Linda’s beautiful bnb! We only stayed for one night as a stop-over on a longer road trip, but we felt so welcomed- Linda’s hospitality was exceptional, and so was the space. We enjoyed hanging out in the historic parlor playing board games by the old mill stone. Breakfast and the snacks on offer were a welcome surprise. The room was just as described, and very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend and hope to be back!

Book this now! This little cottage is absolutely stunning inside. The hosts were amazing - so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and just plain good people that we felt like we could sit and chat with for hours. The main manor house was so gorgeous inside, and the grounds were beautiful, tranquil, and super fun to explore. I’ve stayed in tons of AirBNBs, and this was a standout experience. Well worth every penny. We left feeling rested and restored, and we’ll definitely be back again.

Scott and Dabney have a beautiful home and it truly is a retreat - very relaxing . Plenty of private space with the “nook” coffee area. The home is very large and we felt like we had our own “wing”. The land and surroundings were very peaceful with great views of the mountain.

Super comfortable room and bed. Nice coffee nook with snacks and lemon water. Breakfast was delicious. Owners gave great vineyard and restaurant recommendations .

This was the second time we stayed at Heritage Hill B&B. We loved it so much we came back and brought friends. It was just as nice the second time. We stayed in the Blue room last year and the Gold room this year. Both are beautifully decorated. We also had use of the living room and the patio with fireplace. Scott had a fire ready after our day of hiking and visiting wineries. The views are breathtaking. Dana makes a gourmet breakfast each morning and they both provide great ideas of things to do and see. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our stay in the Library Loft! It was the perfect cozy getaway — warm, inviting, and full of charm. The host made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, and their thoughtful touches didn’t go unnoticed. Breakfast was such a treat and truly set the tone for a relaxing morning.
