Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Weggis

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. Wir waren mit 2 Familien in Paul's Ferienhaus! Es hat genügend Platz! Da wir super schönes Wetter hatten konnten wir fast immer im Garten sitzen! Das Highlight war jeweils am Morgen beim Frühstück, dass plötzlich uns die Alpakas begrüssten! Die Kinder und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt sehr geniessen! Die Kommunikation zwischen den Gastgebern und uns funktionierte immer sehr gut und schnell! Herzlichen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt

We really enjoyed our week in the house of Martin and Christine! Our boys loved their room where they could play with the toys. The very close by playing ground and football pitch is absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for the stay!

Magnifique séjour entre amis, d’enfance. Un accueil très chaleureux de la part de Lien et son mari. Le logement est très soigné et tout est mis à disposition pour passer un agréable séjour. Le chalet et sa vue sur le lac et les montagnes sont à couper le souffle.

It is a wonderful stay at this charming attic apartment in Seon. The space was clean, well-equipped, and offered a peaceful retreat. The host is a very friendly family, both co-hosts were communicative, friendly, and provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out seamless, besides helping with small things during the stay. The apartment's location was ideal for our needs. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our stay comfortable. They even left a gift for Easter! It was such a surprise! Overall, this property offered excellent value, and we would gladly return for another stay. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying at Theres' lovely home for three days, and what a peaceful little getaway it was! We had to make a few changes to our booking, and she was super kind and flexible about it—something we really appreciated. She even picked us up from the station, which was such a thoughtful gesture! Theres is truly a kind soul, and her home reflects that warmth. The place is serene, surrounded by beautiful views that instantly put you at ease. The rooms were spotless, the furniture cozy, and the kitchen had more utensils than we knew what to do with! We felt right at home and are already looking forward to coming back again.

Beautiful home with modern appliances, pool, and gorgeous view. Definitely recommend for couples or families! Thank you to the owner for accommodating us and being extremely responsive.

Wir haben sehr von Rolf und Norma’s Gastfreiheit und Freundlichkeit genossen. Wir sind sehr warm und herzlich empfangen, es wurde auch sofort ein Feuer angemacht um die Wohnung zu erwärmen. Unsere Tochter durfte uns auch besuchen und dort übernachten, das war ganz selbstverständlich. Kurz gesagt, wir können es 100% empfehlen und wenn wir wieder in Zürich sind kommen wir gerne wieder zurück. Die Wohnung war genau wie versprochen und wie auf den Fotos, einfach super! We spent two weeks at Brigitte and Sepp's place while visiting family in Switzerland. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We absolutely loved it. This has been a most amazing and wonderful experience. Brigitte and Sepp are kind, wonderful people and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Brigitte and Sepp's. The apartment is upstairs with a separate entrance, and has a full kitchen and three bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had everything and more than we needed for our stay. The nearby villages of Sattel and Steinerberg have all the necessities for daily live, i.e. small grocery stores, bakeries, banks, gas stations, restaurants. The town of Schwyz is about 20 minutes away and has bigger shopping centers and more amenities.

Kathi’s place is very cosy and homely. The apartment has everything you might need and more with lots of space inside and nice outside area for sitting in the sun and enjoying the lovely surrounding areas. Lots of walks and bike trails in the area. We absolutely loved the fireplace! Really enjoyed staying here, highly recommend :)

Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

INCREDIBLE!! The photos don’t do justice to just how truly incredible this place is. I would recommend 10/10 times and would come back in a second. Marlise, her husband Chrigel and son Mike were all incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us get a more local experience. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train/boat station, restaurants and grocery stores. The hot tub/ sauna and outdoor shower, mixed with the view make this place a relaxing paradise.

It was lovely place, pretty close to the town area with COOP departmental store next door. Very elegant designed rooms and nice balcony. Highly recommended for someone wanting to live in peace and witness swiss style of living.

Kathrin’s place was wonderful. Truly a great place to stay. They have all amenities needed and are at a great place in the city of Zurich to be close enough to the old town but not too busy in the craziness of the city itself. If you like day trips but want to stay in Zurich, this is a great home base for traveling to the mountains to Grindelwald or Engelberg if you want to do a day trip. Highly recommend!!

Such an incredible view from balcony. And the place was so cute!! Absolutely loved it. Only bummer was how early bus stopped bc taxi to place was a bit costly. Also for those from US when she says it’s on the first floor that actually meant the top floor. I was a bit confused at first getting in. But i think ground and garden are the lower levels. Janine was awesome. Let us keep our luggage in garage after we checked out so we were able to fully enjoy our last day here!!

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

Het huisje was prachtig! Ideaal voor de skiërs die direct vanuit huis willen skiën. Huis was heel proper! Esther was heel behulpzaam en je kan op haar zeker rekenen!

Wir haben die Ostertage als Familie, 7 Erwachsene, in der Retreat Lodge Schürmatt verbracht. Von Beginn weg waren wir begeistert von der Einrichtung, der Lage, der Ausstattung. Alles, wirklich Alles, war vorhanden. Jeden Tag haben wir gemeinsam gekocht und alles Zubehör war vorhanden und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Aussicht in die Schweizer Alpen, zu verschiedenen Tageszeiten und Wetterlagen, ist wunderschön. Die kreisenden, rufenden Milane in der Luft ein faszinierendes Schauspiel für Aug und Ohr. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen und Geniessen ein. Ob Sonne oder Schatten-Platz, für jeden hat es ein hübsches Plätzli dabei mit den passenden Gartenmöbeln. Auch im Haus findet jeder (s)einen Lieblingsplatz zum Wohlfühlen, Ausruhen, Lesen, Spielen, Geniessen. Uns allen hat es ausgezeichnet gefallen. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Danke, Vinzenz!

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden - alles war einwandfrei und sauber. Der Pool war sehr angenehm. Wir würden die Unterkunft erneut mieten!

Priskus and Silvia were wonderful hosts - they were very friendly and welcoming to us. We availed of their Swiss breakfast and it was one of the best meals we had in Switzerland! The location was around an hour drive from larger cities like Lucerne, Zurich and St Gallen and we found the location to be convenient, but also quiet enough (away from the bustle of busier areas). It had a great mountain view and several good restaurants and bakeries nearby. A lovely place to stay at!
