The teacher's house with adjoining former dwarf school is located with its large garden on the outskirts of the small village of Strüth im Taunus. A few steps from the front door lead hiking trails into nature. The Premonstratensian monastery is also worth a visit. In the village itself there is a bakery , a hairdresser and a restaurant. also a doctor and a pharmacy. All other shopping (Lidl, Aldi, Rewe, DM, organic shop, etc.) are (about 10 minutes by car) in Nastätten.

The only criticism... you can only get to the house via a few stairs. I would like to see this in the description, as this could be a problem for some people.

We had a nice stay with two families and our three small children. It was great that the children could use the "toy cabinet". The area is very nice and quiet with a wonderful view in the distance. The kitchen equipment could be a little more comprehensive. Here, one or the other thing was missing or was not necessarily available in sufficient quantity (bottle opener/corkscrew, small plates, bowls, boards, towels).

We stayed at both apartments this time. We had previously stayed on the 3rd floor. Both apartments are well-equipped, cheerfully decorated, and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. Ying was super responsive. We had trouble with the internet but she worked with us to try and solve the issue. We truly enjoyed our stay and will return!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are in good hands in the Waldhaus von Bernhard & Mark. A cottage furnished with a lot of love & taste. The well-equipped kitchen, an electric grill in the garden and a large dining table in the living area invite you to spend cozy evenings. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend this property. In the immediate vicinity, you can hike, visit the Loreley, or take a trip on the Rhine. Shopping facilities can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. The landlords are very easy to reach and have given us many tips for companies.
