Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Berkshire

Absolutely wonderful stay here, the farm house is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. We stayed with my 1 and 3 year old boys and our dog and Erica couldnt have been more accommodating, providing both a cot and high chair to make our stay that bit more hassle-free. We went to an event a the Newbury Showground and the house was perfect walking distance away and also enjoyed walking to the fab local pub in Chieveley. Dog thoroughly enjoyed himself on all the walks nearby and we’d love to come back sometime to explore more. Thank you.

This is our second time staying in one of Vicki’s listings in Hungerford Park. It’s now become a firm favourite that we’ll keep coming back to visit! The place itself was snug and cosy- perfect for a get away with my partner and I. Despite there are other houses around it’s very peaceful and quiet. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We love walking around looking at the horses and deer! Vicki was very clear with instructions getting here/how to check in etc. and if we needed anything she was there to help. We look forward to staying again soon! 😊

This is an ideal studio apartment for single person/couple with double bed, basic well appointed kitchen and bathroom/shower. Although incorporated physically in the larger house it has its own side passage entrance and sitting out area and is well soundproofed for maximum privacy. The surrounding countryside is on the doorstep for beautiful walks and Didcot is a short drive away for a wide range of shopping options and transport links, particularly rail. Phil is a genial and responsive host and we had a perfect stay.

A warm, beautiful and comfortable home. There were 8 adults in our group and the house was perfect, plenty of crockery / cutlery etc and a fully equipped kitchen to cook in. Really peaceful location, lots of parking and Flavia was a great host, really helpful from booking to arrival and was always quick to reply. Simple lockbox self check in, was a fab stay.

Had a wonderful stay here. The home is very well equipped and clean, easy to cook for all of us (9) . The grounds are so beautiful and there are local footpaths and woodland close to property. I would recommend for gatherings of family & friends when the goal is quality time in a gorgeous home. Hot tube can fit a good few people in !

Excellent accommodation and really friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful peaceful location. Lots of extras were provided (milk. biscuits. eggs from own hens,) which were really appreciated. Will definitely stay again when in area.

Viet is a friendly and accommodating host. He opens his private space generously to a visitor. I have stayed here before and experienced again Viet’s hospitality and relaxed approach. Newbury center within easy walking distance. In case you come with your own car carefully observe the parking instructions so to stay friends with Viet’s neighbours! Which this time I omitted to do, but Viet was gracious to me about this! Lovely and welcoming little place, I will come back to if the occasion presents itself. Thanks Viet!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely location for visiting our son who lives nearby. Excellent accommodation which made our weekend trip very enjoyable. The hosts were very attentive and helpful would definitely recommend and rebook in the future.

I LOVE staying here! Everything is just so perfect and easy. Tom and Jenny are fantastic hosts and communicate so well. The space is so clean and tidy and has been well thought through and looked after. Can’t wait to stay again, of all the places I stay when travelling for work this is my favourite AirBnB.

They sent me very clear instructions, so check in is smooth. The flat is spotless, neutrally decorated, gives a peaceful feeling. Big bathtub with power shower, well equipped kitchen. We are very happy with this accommodation. It is not far from the centre either. Well worth the money.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment in Henley-on-Thames, close to high street and river. Elliot was an exceptional host, he went above and beyond and provided pantry basics such as milk, fruit and butter which I thought was amazing as I forgot butter. The apartment was absolutely perfect our mini getaway in Henley. Would love to stay again.

Such a lovely place and location. Kinvara was a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The Nest’s interior has been finished beautifully and has all amenities you would need. Couldn’t recommend it enough, and we would love to visit again in the future.

Fantastic stay for an overnight stop after a wedding at Wasing Park!

The location of the flat is perfect, it is well equipped and if you need anything a supermarket is just 3 min. on foot. If you like running or walking, the lake is pretty close too.

it was absolutely amazing! it was extremely peaceful and in such a beautiful area. its not too far of a drive to local places like Bath. the apartment was really spacious and clean. me and my partner absolutely loved it and hope we can come back soon

Fantastic accommodation! Comfortable, cozy, very clean and well-maintained, perfect for business stays or medium/long-term visits. I stayed in this accommodation for a long-term stay and needed a space with a kitchen. The apartment truly has everything you need and more – it's very functional and equipped with thoughtful touches that make the stay really pleasant. The kitchenette and the kitchen area in general are perfect even for one person and well equiped. It's located in a convenient area, close to green spaces and the river, and just a few minutes’ walk from the city center. Supermarkets are nearby. Cathy is truly an exceptional host, always available for any need, very communicative, and quick to respond if anything comes up. A super positive experience – highly recommended, even for long stays.

Loved my stay in this beautiful apartment on first floor of a secure building. Very central for exploring the town. Plenty of cafes and restaurants along with independent shops and beautiful scenery. Everything in the apartment was as described and better. Beds, bedding and towels were top quality. Bedrooms are spacious. Great to sit at the window overlooking the square. Left our car in allotted car parking space during our few days stay. So easy to walk everywhere. Sian was a great host and we knew we could contact her if need be. All instructions were very clear and local recommendations helpful. We would highly recommend Sian’s place. We would definitely return if in this area.
