Pet-friendly holiday rentals in West Cliff

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

A super cottage in a beautiful , peaceful location overlooking the river. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and very spacious for 4 adults. Cara was a responsive and helpful host. The location is perfect for getting to Whitby, the NE coast or the North Yorkshire Moors. We walked into Whitby on the beautiful riverside path, accessible and only 35 mins. We happily recommend.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had in your house. Everything was perfect! We loved being so close to the town (although we needed to catch our breath on the incline back!). Many thanks to Debra for recommending The White House for our meal on the first night. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and big enough for us all to get together yet have space to ourselves. Loved it!

Absolutely loved it here! It was like home from home very comfortable and cosy house, great location 10 minutes walk to the seafront and into Whitby town, little pathway next to the house that leads you through the estate towards the seafront ! Great back garden for the dog secure and private with lovely seating area to sit out in the sun .. highly recommend will definitely be returning !

Any less than 5* or a-maz-ing would be doing Jane and Crabapple Cottage a disservice. The neighbours were fabulous too. We had everything we could possibly want in the cottage and looong garden, and more, including the trampoline 😄 Jane was super responsive to questions I raised even when she was out with a friend and immediately set to finding a solution to our mini problem. Settees and bed were very comfortable and our dog was immediately relaxed in the property which was also really important to us. So many places to visit nearby and lots to do, we could have spent way more time there.

lovely setting, period house is what it is. The children loved the little bits of history like the writing block that they had learned bout in school. Easy to find, quality bedding very comfortable. We were staying for a wedding so didn't spend a lot of weekend there. Garden was great to sit out in. Welcome pack was a lovely treat, 😋 The homemade cake sustained us all whilst making up all the wedding flowers at Danby church nothing too much trouble for Trish, I asked for full length mirror and there was one provided. All round a pleasant stay

We had such a lovely stay. The accommodation is like a home from home, it’s really cosy with a lovely design and little touches. The photos of the garden on the listing don’t do it justice. It’s a large garden area which is fully secure, meaning we didn’t have to worry about our dogs escaping. We were welcomed with some fresh bread and shortbread and there were balls and bowls for the dogs. The location is great for exploring Whitby, Robins hood bay etc. We got some meat from the local butchers and it was delicious! Would recommend going there too. We would love to stay here again! We didn’t want to leave.

The house was a good size for 6 of us plus dogs. Elliot was very responsive and greeted us in arrival. The walk into town was very easy and great to go and get scampi and chips. There are some great walks on the moors and the Eskdale valley. The disused railway is on the doorstep and a lovely easy walk. I recommend the gin tour of Whitby gin and the brewery for a quiet drink by the abbey.

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

We loved staying in the cabin on the lake. It was great to have breakfast on the terrace watching the ducks and swans go by. It was spotless, the beds were comfy, and has everything you could need for a great stay. We took our dog and she loved the walks near the lake and on the beach. Filey is a small town, but the beach is lovely and your only a 30min drive to Scarborough or Bridlington. I really hope we get to stay there again.

We had a fantastic time at Byre Cottage. The property was kept immaculate, with all the facilities one could ask for. The cottage was furnished to a great standard and we shall definitely be visiting again in the near future. Beautiful cottage in a great part of Whitby. Super close to all the pubs, shops etc but also feels like an oasis of calm in the cottage and garden. Would definitely stay again !

We had a fantastic stay at Cinder Croft, which was very comfortable and well equipped and a lovely place to come back to after a day out. The quiet location was great and just a few minutes walk from the centre of Whitby. We had lovely fish and chips from the Royal Fisheries and a couple of good meals at the Inn on the Moor in Goathland. We hope to stay again when we are next in Whitby and continue our competition on the arcade machine, which was a real bonus!

Great apartment in centre of Whitby and less than 5 minutes to the beach. It was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

What a lovely and beautiful place to stay no one will be disappointed staying at summerfield bungalow, we loved it 👍clean, cosy, quiet, airy and has everything you need for a relaxing break, and with beautiful views from every window. The garden was totally safe for our doggie 🐾🐾so we were very happy. Thank you so much Michael for being such a great host and making our little break wonderful. Only just got home and booked again to stay later on in the year We cant wait 👍 Jan, Rich and Leroy 🐾🐾

We had a wonderful Easter weekend in this beautiful cottage. Cosy and comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is peaceful and picturesque and we especially enjoyed chatting to Ian and Kathryn and meeting their newborn lambs. Hope to return.

We all had a great time staying at Ben’s place. The location is great and not far to walk from the train station and also the coop for your essentials. His home is very comfortable and everything is there what you could need. Definitely the best house with a sofa we have stayed in so soft and roomy. The area around is nice and quiet. Will definitely stay again. Ben was also very helpful and answered straight away with any issues you may have.

First-class accommodation in a peaceful setting with great views. Fran and Andy could not have been more friendly and helpful. The brownies Fran left for us were the best we've ever tasted! We were lucky enough to see the owl on several occasions. Hope to return in the future.
