Going up the spiral staircase is an adventure in itself, so pack small bags (or packs) (large suitcases are not appropriate). It’s a one hour drive to Hells Canyon boat launch at Pittsburg Landing on the Snake River. Both areas are great for boating, rafting, and fishing.
