We had the best time at Ramy’s place! She is an incredible host with wonderful energy. This little slice of heaven is absolutely worth the visit. Bring cash for the boat ride and the farm stands! We will be visiting again!

We had a great stay at the Chalet. Reading the reviews was very helpful, specifically: 1. The 5-minute uphill hike to the chalet. 2. No flushing toilet paper down the toilet; we had 2 bags in each bathroom – a "stinky" bag that we kept closed and the trash bag for regular business. 3. We brought extra garbage bags to pack out the trash and linens. 4. Bring water. There was a 5-gallon jug full of water there and we brought a 2.5 gallon jug. My family of 5 finished 7.5 gallons of water the morning we left. 5. The property is luxury for a remote island, but it certainly needs some repairs in certain areas. 6. The ATV + trailer to haul our stuff up and down was a life saver. Notes: the queen bed is pretty firm, the king bed is softer. There are sleeping masks there. Bring a washcloth if you want one. Rent kayaks for a day and paddle around the area – so beautiful! Tide pooling was amazing. Buy the Beach Combers Guide at the Homer Bookstore if you have never been before.

Cute, quaint and very peaceful. I enjoyed the stay and if you like out of the way chill locations I would highly recommend. Plus it was a great location to be able to explore both Kona side and Hilo side.

We had a fantastic time on the private island as a family. For us it was a real treat to drive only a short distance from Seattle for a great getaway location. The house is extremely well appointed and the main shower - wonderful! Would recommend unreservedly and appreciated the introduction from Jason.

If only the fishing had been a little better we could have spent more time at the cabin. Overall it was an awesome place to spend time, cook, talk and hangout with my Dad, Brother and Son for a week. Hope to do it again next year!

I loved walking to the Waipio Valley lookout. This was a very interesting location.

We (2 adults and a Labrador) spent three nights at Corinne’s Greenbank cabin Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed our peaceful forest retreat. The small cabin had a nice space and lovely porch. The cabin is in a park like yard with flowering rhododendrons in May. The yard is sounded by a forest of hemlock and red alders and down a wooded lane, shrouding the cabin from the outside world - a perfect silvan retreat. Salmon berries were ripe and the forest was full of birds. We felt miles from the rest of the world but in fact were nicely centered on Whidbey for adventures north or southeast. Greenbank Farm was a great place to let the dog run after getting a tasty sandwich at the Greenbank pantry. Corinne was super responsive and accommodating as a host.

We had a wonderful stay at Diane’s retreat. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. The cozy kitchen is well-stocked with spices but has minimal utensils, so consider bringing a spatula. The washer and dryer were a great convenience. Both nearby beaches are about a half-mile walk, with North Beach being family-friendly, while South Beach offers a more adventurous hike with great low tide exploration. The ferry adds extra time to the trip, but with only 10-12 vehicles per crossing, there’s some flexibility. Overall, a fantastic getaway—we’d love to return!

This was an incredibly fun and special Airbnb for our bachelorette party on the island, it's the perfect setting for your inner child, and also spa experience. Myron prepared a bonfire for us and heated up the sauna both nights of our stay. We swam and paddled canoes around the lake, watched the float planes and wildlife, fed the ducks and used the zipline extensively! The beds and linens are very comfortable. Even though they are dry cabins, the bathroom with running water and flushing toilet is only a short walk away, and Myron keeps the rooms stocked with drinking water. This place is a gem for locals looking for a staycation or visitors who want an unforgettable Alaskan experience (and the perfect place for a family with young kids). Definitely the highlight of my summer!

A beautiful farm setting with a private area for us in the back overlooking the garden. Gorgeous white farm furnishings including the beautiful old rocking chair and claw-foot bath tub. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs (with organic coffee - yum) and very thoughtful touches throughout in anticipation of needs. Allison was very flexible and let us check-in early and was very friendly and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Myron’s island sanctuary was charming and fun, for all ages. He kindly provided many activities for my 11 year old who had an absolute blast. Other guests sharing the common outdoor and indoor spaces was part of the fun, getting to know other travelers by the fire pit, felt very communal. We loved getting a taste of the lake life that we had been missing and faking asleep to the sound of loon cries.

Such a treat! Peaceful, all-inclusive, clean and homey. Gorgeous location with lots of water toys and private swimming hole. The best way to relax. Friendly and courteous host who anticipated every possible need. Felt like family for sure. It's on our summer list to return every year if we can. 10 Stars!

Myron’s island was amazing! I will be back! It is beautiful and there is so much to do. Myron immediately makes you feel like a part of his family! He showed me around nearby Alaska as I had just moved here. Very kind. He is a great host, and overall person!

The location of this off-grid cabin (with electricity and running water) can’t be beat. Beautiful private pebble beach overlooking crystal clear water. Our family group had 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. The space worked well for us (kids and their kids in the loft, us in the main floor bedroom) but might not have enough privacy for other groups. (You can hear everything inside.) Great communication with host Jordan and co-host Tyler. Cell service is good (for better or worse). We didn’t want for anything while there but might have needed a cooler to store food if we’d stayed longer than 3 nights (fridge is on the small side), and we wished we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Be prepared to unload at the dock, anchor at a buoy offshore and then kayak, pedal boat, or swim to shore (pedal boat and kayaks provided). This was our first time on Flathead Lake and it was an amazing way to experience it. We absolutely would stay here again.

Myron's place really is a gem! The island is marvellous and I loved it so much. You immediately feel at home with the other guests and Myron's friendly and welcoming way. Because of a mix up Myron actually ended up giving us his home for the night. There's a sauna, a fireplace and just anything you'd want for a relaxing stay. Myron's also a fun character and was very accommodating and helpful in our search for a place to stay in Denali. Can highly recommend this place!

Shoot. Only a thousand words allowed to describe Paradise Point? Let’s put it this way— our week on Powell Lake was so unforgettable we’ve already booked in for next year. The photos don’t do it justice— you really have to see/experience it to believe it. The cottage itself is sweet and rustic, with super comfy beds, and the location and views are indescribable. My husband and I went for a quiet retreat, just the two of us, but the cottage/property would no doubt be fantastic for a group. We swam every day, made pals with the ravens and chipmunks, lay out under the stars every night… bliss. And Dylan! Dylan was lovely to communicate with— prompt, clear, kind— and took care of all our needs. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Our experience was better than the photos and descriptions in our groups’ opinion! The amenities are a plus but how stocked (kitchen stuff, cards, books) this place is for you and your homies to have a good/comfortable time was top notch. Each room had a king bed 🤌🏼🤌🏼 We left feeling like we had a proper R&R.

The place was damp and musty upon arrival but we were able to open the doors and windows the next morning to air everything out. It was perfect for the remainder of the trip. The property was well maintained and everything that was represented was available. Nice to have washer and dryer. The staff was friendly and responsive. The property is conveniently located in a beautiful, quiet and safe area. Very much enjoyed our stay.

I am writing this review based on the expectations and the location it is in. keep in mind there are many things you will have to do on your own as it says in her listing. I also have a remote property on airbnb. I understand the challenges with the understanding from my clients of what they are from my clients of what they are getting into. for where you are this is an for where you are this is an amazing opportunity to explore the remoteness of this beautiful place. they make it easy as long as you follow the directions provided. I would highly recommend this to those inclined to appreciate this sort of rustic experience.

My wife and I booked 2 nights away for our anniversary and let me tell you, the Pointhouse Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint. Heather and Bob were extremely friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home. Heather created 2 delightful, creative breakfasts which were absolutely delish! We splurged a bit booked a private chef for the Saturday night. Executive Chef Amanda plated an incredible 5 course meal which consisted of nothing but local ingredients so I highly recommend this option! The hot tub was quality and could be enjoyed at anytime as well. The location and view left us speechless. Try and make it there before dark as it can be a bit tricky finding at night :) Thanks Heather and Bob for an amazing experience. We WILL be back !! Peace, Ryan

Anna’s place was exactly what I needed! It’s a great location between north and south shore and is located on a stunning property. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend on the island. My lab got to run around freely and swim, husband and son did lots of fishing. It’s perfectly private, shaded for hot days and sunny areas near the water. Sherrie was super friendly. It’s easy to boat to a restaurant or the shore for food delivery. We hope to stay again

Great property for 6 folks to share. Beautiful view. You can get taxis but better to have a car on this part of the island. No cell service and WiFi is spotty, but it’s fine as long as you don’t plan on working or calling anyone.

I was here for a month in the Spring. 110% would recommend. A beautiful, unique stay in a beautiful, unique location. Wifi is great and stable - place is well-suited to remote working. Everyone on this island is an absolute gem, including Allen and Pat. I splayed my ankle. Allen has been incredibly helpful, and has been the very definition of hospitality, ensurinf my incident didn't spoil my stay. Photograhers could absolutely be added to the example list of creatives who might be interested in this place. If you'd like to buy fresh, curbside homemade jam and eggs - bring some cash :)
