I loved Al’s river house. It was a comfy , friendly space. Great for hanging and visiting with friends. The slough is rich with color . The light is wonderful and ever changing. Really not far from delta restaurants and activities. Great bird watching and otters too! The delta is so cool!

Jenna's cabin on flathead lake was incredible! Truly peaceful and blessing to get to stay there. My family truly loved it. We would love to return sometime in the future. Her Airbnb was the most furnished Airbnb I have ever stayed in. (Bug spray, bear spray, spices, foil (etc), soap, shampoo and conditioner, even tissues and Laundry soap!) The paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat were truly bonus features! We love our time at the lake. Thank you Jenna for being very responsive. Truly a great host!

This was our second stay at BayMod, and we're already excited to come back again. It's a stunning location, right on the bay, with kayaks and all the accessories you'd need (like lifejackets in many sizes). We saw seals, bat rays, and lots of other wildlife when we went out in the morning. We love going to Nick's Cove for lunch and outdoor games (you could even kayak there), to Route One Bakery for breakfast and coffee, and down to Point Reyes Station for shops, restaurants, and groceries. The house is impeccably organized (the most well-organized Airbnb I've ever seen) with helpful instructions and just everything you might think of. Example: lying on the couch looking out the window and feeling a bit cold? There is a bin of throw blankets within arm's reach. Trying to see what's on Hog Island right now? There are binoculars, plus a powerful monocular with a phone mount. This thoughtfulness extends to all aspects of the house. It's beautiful, clean, and cozy. Thank you Deb!

Such a gorgeous location- we spend so much time on the deck just enjoying the view and the birds, and the kayaks and cruiser bikes were so much fun! Beautiful open indoor space, with vaulted ceilings and giant slider doors that let sunlight and the glorious view inside. Friendly, responsive hosts- We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home nestled in the forested landscape of Shasta County. The location is both scenic and peaceful—no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature. It was the perfect getaway spot to unwind and recharge. The house itself was spotless, very comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. You can tell the hosts put thought into making sure guests feel at home. There’s also so much to do in the area—amazing hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and a stunning nearby waterfall that’s definitely worth the visit. If you're looking for a relaxing nature escape with all the comforts of home, this is the place.

We enjoyed an amazing long weekend with some friends and our dogs. The space provides a little bit of everything you need! The direct access to water is ideal, and the access to a private hot tub and sauna was a bonus. We definitely will be coming back for another stay and greatly enjoyed the trip!

Great stay! Very small but quiet getaway location. Definitely can’t imagine staying in that space with more than 2 people. There was no coffee table which was where we were supposed to find extra linens so I’m not sure what happened but it was fine regardless. Everything was fairly clean, easy to find. Lots of spider webs all over the patio and furniture, but it’s nature. Would stay here again on a summer day.

We had a fantastic stay—everything was peaceful and relaxing. The beach access was excellent, and we absolutely loved spending time around the fire pit in the evenings. The hosts were attentive and easy to reach, making everything effortless. The shower was a bit smaller than expected, but aside from that, everything was great. We also had the joy of seeing seals, lots of starfish, deer, and more—such wonderful wildlife moments! Thanks so much for a lovely stay. We’d definitely come back!

Superhost rankings are well earned (and I've found) well deserved. Shelly is a Superhost for a reason. The Lake House in the Woods is everything that you'd expect from a premium listing. Comfortable, quiet, well appointed, and yes, the star of the show is most definitely the lake view showcased by majestic Mt. Ranier on the horizon. During our stay, each night ended with a dip in the hot tub alongside cocktails. If the ultimate endorsement is time spent at an Airbnb - we asked Shelly to extend our stay - twice. We'll be back!

The cottage had a beautiful view of the Bay. You could walk to the beach in about 10 minutes but you did need to cross the highway. The nearby beach was beautiful. The place was clean and very well supplied. It was quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was a bit rough and ready but it wasn't a problem.

This place was very nice! Such a beautiful and relaxing view of the water! The area is quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces, deck, firepit, hot tub, and the kayaks. We saw lots of cool jellyfish and crabs while kayaking out back. Would definitely stay here again. It was also very clean which we appreciated.

I visited the cottage to escape the city for a few days. This place is absolutely adorable— completely drenched in natural sunlight. It manages to maintain its historical charm while also feeling modern. I did some remote work during the visit & the WiFi worked perfectly— I could even get signal sitting outside. It was a little too chilly to take advantage of the water, but even just sitting outside on the floating dock or the balcony provided a lot of peace. This place is the perfect mixture of providing a secluded feel while still being just a short drive to grocery/ restaurants. I truly loved my stay here & am already trying to figure out when I might be back!

Private location near beautiful lake and good kitchen including barbecue. No wifi so you really get away from your daily hassles. André and Merle

I loved staying at Geanea’s off grid cottage. It was such peaceful and beautiful property. She was a quick friend and beautiful host. My cell service from Verizon did not work while I was there and she went above and beyond to help me. I hope I get the chance to come stay here again! I loved it. P.s. If you get a chance to get a massage from Geanea do it! She has healing hands! Plus, her meals are fabulous too. Take her up on the dinners. You won’t be sorry! Healthy and tastes great. Most likely coming fresh from her farm❤️.

If you want a location that gives you the sense of seclusion and provides you with great amenities to relax and unwind, then this is it. With two younger kids the bunk beds on the upper level were perfect and the king bed on the lower level was comfortable. The house was clean and had what you need to make for an easy stay. The hot tub was a hit, and the there are plenty of water craft options to enjoy the lake. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

We loved our one-night stay. It was cozy + we used all the amenities - made a fire, the jacuzzi, walked to the river. Our dogs loved the yard + we saw multiple deer. Would recommend + stay again. Thank you Matt!

We had an amazing 3 nights at Rudy’s cabin. The cabin is charming, clean, and has everything you might need. The cabin, lake, and surrounding area makes it easy to unplug, slow down, and become inspired. Trip highlights: Visits with Zenji the dog, watching hummingbirds at the feeder, listening to the birds, as well as the occasional loon and owl, an evening thunderstorm, cozy fires in the cabin, swimming and canoeing off the shared dock, nearby waterfalls, gondola/hiking at Sun Peaks, a drive to the spectacular Helmcken Falls near Clearwater. Tips: Bring your favourite board game, a book, something to draw/paint with as this place will inspire you to do the things you liked doing before having a smart phone! We were nervous about the toilet but it was totally fine. Take a screen shot of Dave’s directions to the cabin as there is no service for the last bit of the drive. A few mosquitos so bug spray is good to have. Stay at least three nights if you can.

The Main cabin is very rustic and homie. The master bed was comfortable and so were the couches and pull out bed. Other folks in my party stayed in the bungalow. It’s summer so they were very warm in the afternoon so we had the A/C and fans blowing most of the time. But it cooled down very fast in the evening. Plenty of grills and fridge space for us for the weekend. Hot tub ran great! And bathroom was a nice. It’s septic system but water was clean and ran well. Thank you Brian for being responsive and hosting us. We enjoyed the cabin and Dock!

We loved our stay at Catherine’s Cottage. It’s romantic, relaxing and uplifting - not a bad combination! Look forward to our return.

Beautiful house right on the water! Very clean, dog and kid friendly, well stocked, and close to great hikes and fun activities on the OP! The only item I’d like to point out was there is no photo of the 3rd bed - it’s kind of squeezed into an alcove so we had some grandparents who very nicely had to squeeze and or climb to get into the bed! Not a problem but just an FYI. The view from this house’s deck and dock were incredible - we immediately felt relaxed and at ease. Highly recommend!

Had an incredible stay at this countryside cabin! If you’re looking to escape the noise of the city and truly relax, this is the place. The cabin is tucked away in a private, scenic area surrounded by nature – no neighbors in sight, just the sound of birds and rustling There was even a private outdoor deck and fire pit, perfect for evenings under the stars. Highly recommend for couples, solo travelers, or anyone needing a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. I’ll definitely be returning!

They provided all the necessary support in a very professional manner. The scenery by the lake near the cabin is absolutely beautiful. Whether you’re inside the house, out in the yard, or by the lake, you can easily find plenty of things to do and enjoy. It’s a pity I could only stay for one night this time. I’d love to come back and stay longer if I have the chance in the future.
