We had a lovely stay here, lovely and quiet and perfect location for what we needed! The house was very spacious and clean.

Nice cottage and welcoming , everything you would require . Just a bit noisy being next to the main road. It’s a shame they don’t put speed bumps being such a narrow road , that would solve it !! Bug apart from that everything as described thank you

A very spacious and comfortable barn conversion. Situated in a great location. Ormskirk is a very nice market town with easy access via train to Liverpool. Really enjoyable weekend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is spotlessly clean, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The decor is stylish and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it hard to leave. Everything was exactly as described- if not better! We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable or charming place to stay. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return!

Lovely massive house for the family can sleep 15 easy so much space in all the rooms great location 10/15 minutes walk from the start of lords street, garden is great big trampoline, hot tub, football posts, ping pong table, garden furniture and bbq some undercover. We was left some little treats as we booked for special birthday and we was let in an hour earlier and greeted by host. Some of the decorations has aged but that doesn't effect the your stay will definitely return and recommend

What a fantastic place. This is a must visit cottage if you need a place around the Preston area. Helen is a wonderful host who answers questions quickly and leaves clear instructions for your visit, and provides advice on the local places to visit. The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you need for your stay. It is set in lovely surroundings with the added advantage of a passing cockerel and beautiful peacock that you can watch from a lovely area where you can sit outside in the sunshine. The location is very secluded. Helen and partner ensure your stay is comfortable and go the extra mile to leave you some chocolates, some bread and milk in the fridge for a brew. Thoroughly recommended.

Am excellent stay Jacquie was helpful and responded very quickly the house was incredible value we will definitely be back when next playing golf in Southport. Would recommend Bistrot Verite excellent food if you stay with Jacquie

The Port Hole was perfect for my week of workshops around Lancashire. Central and well connected, it was a haven to come back to. Steve even helped me to mend a couple of bits of my equipment that broke. The kitchen had everything I needed and the slightly eccentric shower room worked perfectly well. Comfy bed too! Would certainly return. Thank you, Steve!

I really loved my stay at this place. It felt peaceful and very secure, there were multiple locks, and the whole setup was just incredible. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and cornflakes! The TV was perfect, with access to both YouTube and Netflix, which made relaxing in the evening even better. Honestly, I don’t have any complaints, everything exceeded my expectations. John was also super helpful and responsive whenever I needed anything, which made me feel really supported and not alone during my stay! Highly recommend! Preston in also a lovely area to take walks in.

Jane's apartment is fantastic! It's spacious, beautifully furnished and has wonderful views. Four of us stayed for one night and found it comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice walk along the prom and found a handy pub to have a good lunch in. The city centre is within easy reach with good transport connections. We were made to feel at home by Jane and the cold beers in the fridge on arrival were most welcome! Thank you. Her communication and instructions were excellent from the moment we booked. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Highly Recommended!

This was our second visit to Lynne's place and once again we had a wonderful time. Lynne was a congenial host and the apartment had everything as described. A two minute walk takes one down to the River Mersey foreshore with paved footpath alongside, and Anthony Gormley's "The Men" can be seen en route. From the kitchen the view of the garden and over to the West Lancashire Golf Course is delightful. Parking right outside and short walk to train station were a bonus. We look forward to another return visit one day.

Excellent base for what we wanted. Lots of local eateries in walking distance, very quiet location as its away from the main road. The rooms are massive for a two bedroom flat. Really helpful instructions on how to get there and really well presented. I would highly recommend and will be staying again myself.

Comfortable stay in a great location - Lytham bars and restaurants are just around the corner - and lots of parking spaces.

I had a brief stay while in town for a wedding, but it was a pleasant one. The accommodation was spotless, conveniently located, and made getting around effortless. It’s just a short walk from the main street, the train station, and several great restaurants, which made everything incredibly accessible. Perfect for a short visit or weekend getaway.

Beautiful apartment over 2 stories. Lovely large lounge and dining area. 5 minute walk to the town centre with all the shops, pubs and restaurants.

What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at this wonderful property. Very peaceful and yet close to so many attractions. The hosts are wonderful and helped us out with a car issue for which we were very grateful. The property is spotless and feels very homely. The kitchen is very, very well equipped. Everything about the property itself, the wonderful hosts who live above the apartment and the location made our short break so memorable and enjoyable.

Amazing stay in a lovely home. Easy to get to Liverpool on the Mersey Rail and affordable Uber options too. The flat its self is well kept and nicely decorated, it was very comfortable and exceeded everything we needed for our weekend stay. 10/10 would recommend
