Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in West Pennington

This home was wonderful and perfect in every way. We found many additional features of the home that were not listed which may our stay even nicer. The location is absolutely ideal for vacationing and sightseeing all of the national parks and major attractions in and around the Rapid City area. We will definately be back for future visits and looking forward to staying at this home again. Sipping coffee on the deck every morning watching the deer and wildlife was certainly a delightful plus.

Ryan’s place is perfect stay with a pet. It’s clean, especially the beddings! It’s close to everything we need.

On arrival the house was in a great neighborhood with a quiet atmosphere. When we walked in the house was very clean and looked at home. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The host made sure to make us feel welcomed and answered any questions we had regarding our stay. At the end of our stay she wished us good travels on the rest of our trip. My family would definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay! Home was located within easy distance of Custer State park, Mt Rushmore and more. Home was clean,well stocked with towels etc and comfortable beds.

Best place we've ever stayed. The kids had fun playing in the stream and enjoyed the games while my husband and i either joined them or lounged on the back deck. It was nice to have a good, clean place to cook and the grill was helpful. The rooms were well thought out for the space, and it was nice to have a window AC unit in each room, though we stayed when we only really needed them one day, most of the days open windows with a breeze was perfect. The dog was in heaven, and even wanted to become an outside dog instead of staying an inside dog. Instructions were great and they had some nice personal touches. The place was clean and in good working order. It was a a good spot for being close to cool things to do and see without being in the middle of crazy. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place. We'd definitely come back and stay here again.

This place was perfect for my little family. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this location if you’re visiting the area to checkout all the monuments and scenery there in western South Dakota. It felt as if we were in the center of it all.

The perfect space for a solo traveler or a couple. It’s small and decorated with thoughtfulness and style. I was comfortable and found everything i needed. The stairs are very steep (think spiral staircase) but solid and manageable. And it’s an easy downhill walk to Main Street with all of its restaurants, cafes, shops etc. and there’s a lovely tiny yard with chairs and table and small grassy area.

We LOVED this location! Right off the highway, walkable to restaurants, and very peaceful! The apt had everything you needed and utilized space very well! One of our favorite places we have stayed on our cross country road trip!

We liked that it was central to the many attractions we visited. Great restaurants within walking distance. I enjoyed the charm of the old home. It served its purpose for our stay there. We are an older couple and stayed in the upstairs apartment.

Great location for our trip to the black hills! We would stay here again as it met our needs perfectly.

We absolutely loved our stay in Sage cottage! The space was perfect for us, clean, cozy, comfy beds, all that and super friendly chickens! What’s not to love?! It’s a perfect hidden retreat that guarantees to charm, from start to finish! Loved everything about our stay except that we had to leave too soon!

This is a great place to stay! Very spacious for a 3 bedroom apartment, with lots of storage space. The host was very kind, and easy to work with, and everything went seamlessly!

Teri is a wonderful host, very responsive. The home is lovely and centrally located to all the sites we visited. Well-appointed and had everything we needed for our five day stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Rapid City area.

It was a beautiful place to stay and RuthAnn is a great host. The kids enjoyed talking to her in the morning and telling her about what we did the day before.

The stay was wonderful. Place was further out of town than expected but beautiful scenery and peaceful location. Very close to ski slopes if that is what you are there to do.

My husband and I stayed at Cyndie's place on our way to the Bighorn Mountains. She had such thoughtful touches, snacks, eyeglass cleaner, all the toiletries you could need. Very comfortable bed, and gorgeous setting. We went for an evening walk yo enjoy the scenery, and saw several deer galloping down the ravine. Very peaceful, highly recommend!

Perfect location for our stay and the room was clean. Easy access with the lock on the door and had everything we needed inside. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, cups, appliances, and the bathroom shower was roomy and clean. The room was a little small for 2 people and our archery gear, and we went in the summer, so it was hot, even with the fans. I didn't look to see if there was A/C, so that was my fault. The bed was comfortable! There was a TV in the living room and bedroom, which was nice, even though we didn't use them, and the internet was quick and easy to connect to. It was a little noisy with kids running around upstairs and we being on the first floor, but by bed-time it got quiet. You can see the ski lodge from the room and it takes about 5 minutes to walk there! We would stay again, but maybe on an upper unit.

Great condo in a beautiful location. The hot tubs and pool were great after a long day hiking around the Badlands and Black Hills. Would definitely stay here again!

We liked it even more than the photos. It was so nice to have two bathrooms. Living on the ground floor was easy for carrying our gear. We loved the hot tub! (Sadly our first night it was cold, so check before arrival if they will heat it). Nice to have access to pool table and extremely nice to walk to Terry Peak just across the street! (Tip buy lift tickets in advance for New Year’s Eve! Pick up passes night before so you can get right in gear rental lines). Hosts were very responsive. Nice to cook our own food.

Bridget's place is a peaceful condo centered in the area to everything we wanted to see. We came for a college visit at SD School of Mines in Rapid City just 10 minutes from the condo. Then, we were easily able to get to all of the other area attractions. The condo is very well appointed and has everything one needs for a great stay, even laundry amenities with detergent and softener! The beds are comfortable and great to have a King size in the master. We loved the closets with wide shelving and hanging space. It was also easy to cook a few meals since Bridget provided pots and pans that actually are functional. Loved the ceramic set! Thanks Bridget for creating such a neat space in Hermosa for us to relax and unwind.

Great option for those heading to Terry Peak to ski/snowboard or if you’re just looking for a place within reasonable distance to Deadwood. Would stay here again!
