Very nice and peaceful place, just perfect for our party of about 20 people. The place matched the description well and the location was suitable, especially when we came from Tampere and Turku. The host responded well to messages and helped with things like a hot tub. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful weekend at the cottage sauna, swimming and relaxing. The cottage had everything you needed, a peaceful and beautiful yard and as a host Tuukka is really friendly, flexible and hospitable, big thanks! :)

Celebrated Midsummer with a dog and a 1-year-old child. The small sandy area was nice for the child and the place is at the end of the road, so the dog could be free. Everything needed was found inside and outside and we managed without any problems. You get used to the sound of Jyväskyläntie mentioned in the description and when grilling, smoking, etc., you no longer notice them. Short distance to Sysmä/Hartola/Heinola where shops and services and water stations for drinking water replenishment. No complaints from our family!

The house was absolutely wonderful, large, very old things to admire. The kitchen was missing one thing, a freezer, otherwise everything else was there. Nice surroundings, paths you could walk along to the swimming beach. Recommends the accommodation.

Fantastic mökki in unbeliavably beautiful scenery! Arja is a great host and the cottage has everything one needs. if you are looking for a getaway in a very remote private place, this is for you. it is not super easy to get there. next Shop is about 35 min away with the car. you should plan your shopping well. I can't recommend Pöllötupa enough. Will come again!

I spent a night in Abbis Lillstuga during my trip to the Björkö-Panike hiking trail. The cottage was really a fantastic cozy and idyllic place to stay – a real gem! Everything was exactly as promised, and more. The host couple, Christel and Frank, were incredibly friendly and professional, and they immediately answered all my questions with great care. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything you could need and a little more, which made the stay extra comfortable. At the end of the cottage, there was a wonderful terrace and a summer kitchen with a gas grill – a fantastic place to sit and enjoy a meal during warmer days. On the other side of the house, there was an outdoor shower with hot water (heated with gas) and next to it a composting toilet, which was so clean and well maintained that it could be a model for all summer cottage owners! I also heated the sauna in the yard, which was a wonderful experience. The sauna was housed in an old, charming timber shed that had been converted into a sauna.

The location was nice, just a short drive from the center of Jyväskylä. A peaceful, pleasant lakeside place. All arrangements went smoothly. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils for even larger cooking. There are plenty of opportunities for recreation, from yard games to rowing.

Beautifully decorated cottage with a terrace overlooking a beautiful lake landscape. The kitchen with appliances is functional, although the water has to be carried from the well. Plusses include a large refrigerator & freezer, air heat pump and upstairs blackout curtains. However, the best thing is the large, sunny terrace, where you can enjoy the summer.  The lakeside sauna by the water was pleasant, the steam was soft and you could jump into the water from the pier. The pearl of the beach terrace is the dishwashing area: functional, downright inviting, the water was heated in the outdoor stove and you could do the dishes while admiring the landscape - there was almost a queue for dishwashing shifts! It did not bother to carry the dishes up/down, it was taken in terms of exercise. The cottage was clean and the beds/linens in good condition. Unfortunately, the internet was very patchy, but luckily we were not working remotely. The swaying railings of the stairs and the upper floor of the cottage were a little scary. The road leading to the cottage, which is moderately winding and hilly, also offers its own exciting moment.

amazing place close to the water where you can enjoy a boat ride, swimming or fishing. the cabin is cozy and has comfortable beds. Linda and Henke are very nice and supereasy to communicate with. we definitely recommend staying here!

We had a very refreshing mini vacation. This is the perfect place for the two of us. We slept well, took a sauna and walked in nature.

Perfectly matched the description. Lovely and cozy cottage. The sofa bed was excellent to sleep on. The chicken and the rooster are also polite. A wonderfully natural and cozy place. I would have enjoyed staying longer. Good cooking facilities, but also close to good restaurants. We will definitely come again when we need accommodation in Vesilahti. Even was easy to deal with and everything went well. :)

This was the second night we spent in Riita's wonderful country-style accommodation. The highlight of the summer, I highly recommend it!

A stunningly beautiful place. An oasis of relaxation. The house is exceptionally beautifully located, very spacious and very comfortably furnished, both indoors and outdoors. We were five adults and delighted with the sparkling clean house, especially the bathroom with sauna and the hot pot. We would have liked to have stayed longer...

We loved our stay in Lauri’s cabin. Everything is brand new and clean. When we had a small problem, Lauri was quickly to respond and helped us out. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Nice place and nice atmosphere. The sauna often heated up and the water was nice and cool. The boards were studded.

This place is a gem! Perfect location, built by hand, amazing hosts and last but not least, the sauna was the best! Very helpful and friendly hosts, even booked us a taxi back to Jyvaskyla train station for our early departure. An easy 5 stars, would recommend to anyone. Sitting by the woodstove was the best way to end the day after hiking on the trails in the magical forest close to the BnB.
