Beautiful area easy walk to the beach. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed listening to the local college radio station 104.1!

Christine's cottage offers rest and relaxation and is described well by other guests. But allow me to add that the sea breeze coming up the hill is so fresh that your clothes will absorb it...especially if they are hanging outside on her clothesline. (The cottage does offer a dryer if you prefer.) My partner says he'll never wash his shirt again because it smells like Nova Scotia. Christine provides yummy baked goods and you'll find other baked delights in the local village store. You can walk to the store or drive...nothing is far away. There are hiking trails, whale watching tours in season, seals, birds, and a library of interesting local history in the cottage. The people of Freeport and adjacent Brier Island are so friendly and accommodating that it was very hard to pack up and leave.

This AirBnB is worth every penny and more. We went to go whale watching and made it a weekend in Westport, NS. Brier Island is beautiful and serene. If you are looking for some time to disconnect this may just be the place. Book a whale watching trip as activity. Visit the light houses for sunrise and sunset, to take those amazing picture. The AirBnB is above and beyond clean. Linen and towels have the fresh smell and feel. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals, or go have a good old pub meal at Chetwicks across the parking lot. Forgot something, no worries, the local store may have that toothbrush or the chips you need. The master bedroom features an amazing view of the sunrise, so make sure to raise the blinds just enough for you to be tickled by the sun in the morning. The other 2 bedrooms are super spacious and over lots of storage. The TV in the living room has all the streaming apps for you to log your own account in and enjoy a movie.
