Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wexford

Just a few words, I would like to thank Ruth for letting us her beautiful beach house it was so amazing couldn't ask for any more. Everything you could wish for right beside the sea. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to booking Ruth's beautiful beach house again, Thank you.

This is our second visit to Weavers Cottage.. The cottage is light, airy and warm. The furnishing and fixing are all of a high standard. The cottage has every amenity you could need. It is 5 minutes from the centre of the village and the river. There are many beautiful walks from the village and nearby. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. She kindly leave basic provision to see you through your first night at the cottage. When I suffered toothache she helped us find a local emergency dentist. I cannot praise Mary or her cottage enough.

Margo was lovely! Very friendly & we felt completely at home! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Lucy’s house in Blackwater. It is exactly as it looks in the photographs. There were 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 children and the house was so spacious that you never felt on top of one another. Everything you needed was there to make it a home away from home. The living space had floor to ceiling glass windows which filled the house with light, offering great views but also remaining very private. A large table allowed us to eat together as a family and to play board games on. There is also a lovely private decking area at the front of the house for sitting out on. The location was excellent to tour from and Blackwater itself is a quaint little village. Lucy as a host was terrific. Instructions were very clear and any questions we had were responded to promptly. I would highly recommend Lucy as a host and her accommodation to stay in.

We recently stayed at Mary’s. There was 9 of us, 3 kids and 6 adults and it was more than enough space for us all. It was well looked after and it had everything we needed, it was so cosy & also spotless. We live in Dublin so it was amazing having the out door space for the kids. Check in was a breeze and Mary was so friendly she gave us recommendations also. Would highly recommend it anyone which we have already done. Tramore isn’t too far away and we recommend getting the passage ferry, it was 10 euro single and 15 euro return. It was brilliant. I can’t fault a thing about Elrove, we will definitely be back.

Susan was wonderful. Met us on our late arrival with fresh scones and a fire burning in the fireplace. Gave us recommendations for nearby experiences and also let us settle in quickly. Checked in with us to see if we had needs and were great at communication. We had a lovely time at their beautiful property.

Loved staying here! I woke up every morning to watch the sunrise over the sea. You can see so many stars from the back porch! Siobhain was also so nice and responsive. I could not have asked for a better hostess.

Spotlessly clean Airbnb. Noeleen was very communicative both before and during our stay - she couldn't have been more helpful. The brown bread, fresh eggs, jams & butter were a lovely added touch. Beautiful, peaceful setting and a fantastic area of Ireland to explore.

Thank you for a very comfortable stay and a wonderfully welcoming apartment, lacking nothing. The situation is very peaceful with a local public house which was open when we arrived but the village shop was closed. The only place to have a meal was at a hotel a few miles down the road. This was not a problem - just to flag for future reference.

What a lovely hostess. The simplicity of the place is so refreshing. Leah is the precious salt of the earth human being. No pretenses...just a beautiful, hard working individual who is deeply thankful for her place in life and is patiently doing her best to improve what she has , everyday. A privilege to stay here and an even greater privilege to meet this young lady. The presence of the donkeys simply made my day. The bleating of goats was so refreshing. The view of the hills and the valleys from the donkey gate is a reminder of what is really important in life. If you want to slow life down, rethink your path , this is a quiet place to do that. Stayed here for a wedding in the Lyrath hotel which was perfect for us as it is very close by. Gorgeous cottage, very clean and had everything we needed. Marilyn was an excellent host would definitely recommend this place to anyone

The house was just as described and is beautiful. The house is very guest friendly. Martina was there to meet us and provided needed info for our stay. The directions on the Airbnb site took us to the wrong place. Would definitely stay again.

Orla facilitated our request for a stay at very short notice. The place is was very clean, comfortable and close to Dunmore East. We had a fantastic stay and will 100% be back.

The apartment was in a great location. It was clean and had everything we needed. Patrick was very helpful, accomodating and made us very welcome. Would definitely recommend to any group of 4. Good value also.
