I found Braxmere Lodge very clean and comfortable in quiet and traquil location at southern end of Lake Taupo. Felt safe and private. Friendly staff. Stunning views. I will stay again.

Jolanda was an amazing and attentive host. I travelled solo with my two very young kids and Jolanda made sure I had everything and more to make it as easy and comfortable for me and the kids. We had a great stay at Richard’s place. We were here for the Tongariro Crossing and this place was very close. The place exceeded our expectations as it had many just about every amenity we could think of Getting in was easy. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

"Home away from home". We felt very well there, the place is perfectly settled and very well equiped with all the confort and modern equipment provided. Carty and Sher are very welcoming, very helpful with advises on Turangi activités. Really nice spot on a hill that has terrific views of Lake Taupo. The place is modern and has everything you need for a nice getaway. There are some really nice touches from the hosts with the goodies provided, they were also very responsive and helpful helping us to get Netflix working. Would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Michael’s place. All the important things were perfect: warm, clean, comfy beds, lovely linen, treats in the fridge AND the sauna! Far exceeded our expectations, thanks so much!!

The post office was amazing! Spa, fire pit, sauna. Beautiful property, lots of fun features and attention to detail. Great place for us to stay after the Northern Circuit. Thanks for the nice touch to leave the giant marshmallows and biscuits for us, we had a lovely time with the fire pit making s’mores.

Staying with Richard is already going 50 years behind with a typical 1960s house in a setting surrounded by nature! It's very fun and very typical ... In addition 20 minutes from the Tongariro crossing. Richard is an extraordinary host for his friendliness. It's 200% dedicated to the comfort of its guests . His professionalism in terms of high-end hospitality is felt from the very first moments in his home. Its thoughtful touches and generosity make the stay a wonderful unforgettable moment.
