Monthly Rentals in Whareama

We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks visiting family in Masterton. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The two bedrooms are very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. There's an open plan lounge, diner, kitchen all beautifully furnished. We easily sat 7 round the table one night. It's a lovely old villa with original features and wonderful art works and quirky objects. Our 2 3/4 year old grandson was over the moon with the trainset, one of a big collection of games and toys. On fine days we loved sitting on the back verandah watching the birds flitting round and listening to birdsong. It was very peaceful. On Saturday mornings it's a short walk to the Solway Showgrounds for the Farmers Market. Joan and Michael are the perfect hosts, very quickly responsive to any queries. I'm so glad we got to meet them. This would be our first choice if we are back in Masterton.

Marg was a fantastic host. Great communication and very friendly. The unit was very clean and had everything our family of three needed. Was also a beautiful setting with Marg’s lovely gardens to look out on. Would highly recommend.

Our biggest regret was not having long enough at Catherine's place to really relax and enjoy everything. Catherine's place is really well set up for families with books, toys and games, dvd's, BBQ area, table tennis and pool. Then, of course, there's Riversdale Beach, walks, 9 hole golf course... Catherine was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host.

Mick and Ondy’s home is a beautiful, warm, peaceful and relaxing spot in Wairarapa- just the kind of place we needed for a weekend away from Welly’s hustle and bustle. Even on cold and rainy days, the house was so comfy and outside landscape gorgeously complimented the inside of the house. Enjoying a relax soak in the spa in the rain was such a highlight for our group. We enjoyed the little personal touches such as well-stocked kitchen pantry with tea, coffee, milk and marshmallows (yumm!) and the little bird feed pouches! Our bubs enjoyed watching the bird sounds in the morning hours and feeding them later on. A perfect getaway place for groups of you enjoy a mix of nature and luxury. And we would love to book more stays during summer and spring time. Mick and Ondy were very responsive hosts and made us feel welcomed in their home. Would highly recommend them x
