Family-friendly holiday rentals in Whitby

It was not our first stay at Serenity Suite, and hopefully not our last. Danny & Annette were very responsive and co-hosts Lisa &Miguel were super friendly, flexible and helpful. The space is a great retreat, just as shown in the listing. Super convenient location in South Whitby, perfect for a tranquil couples getaway.

Great place to stay. Excellent communication. Benson always got back to me within 5 minutes of any questions I had. House had everything you need. Already have the house booked again in March.

Our stay at Honey House was sooooo lovely! Such a cozy and fun space. Ann is a fantastic host and was so kind and welcoming. 11/10 from us.

We had a great stay at Thomas' place. He met us at check in, showed us the building, parking and any details we needed to know. He was very responsive, provided early check in, and coordinated parking spots for both our vehicles. The place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Lauries was the perfect place for a family hang out . The public spaces: living room , kitchen, patio and bbq area snd front porch area were perfect for our family to enjoy each other. Newly renovated bathrooms a big plus . The proximity of shops restaurants and mass transit was excellent. Id come again in a heartbeat! We had a big family dinner the last night and found the kitchen well equipped and designed. Great place!

we had an incredible two-week stay at John and Sarah's place! From the moment I arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. One of my favorite moments was sitting in the backyard early in the morning with my coffee, hearing the birds chirp—it was the perfect way to start my day. John and Sarah were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Their local tips and recommendations made my trip even more special, and the easy access to TTC made getting around the city a breeze. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!

We had an awesome few days at Damon and Erica’s…the place is better than the pictures! Everything was super easy and the location is a dream, close to everything and steps from great restaurants and cozy bars. I’ve already recommended it to friends and will try to book it again next time I’m in Toronto.

super welcoming, good communication and very friendly!

We stayed for a week as a family of three – two adults and a toddler. The apartment is in a great location – quiet, yet close to the city center. You can walk in 20–30 minutes or take a short tram ride. The Distillery District is also really close, which is a great bonus. The host was very friendly and responsive, always quick to help with anything we needed. When we pointed out that the old baby crib wasn’t in good shape, the host kindly bought a new good-quality one. It was also lovely that some toys were prepared for our 1.5-year-old son - he really appreciated that! The kitchen is well-equipped with everything necessary for cooking. The apartment itself is in good condition overall, though not perfect – but still comfortable for a short or long stay. Note for families with young children: there are two sets of steep stairs. The listing mentions stair gates, but they weren’t permanently installed, and we couldn’t figure out how to set them up ourselves during our stay.

We stayed 3 nights and had a great stay. It was close to my family's home in Ajax and the price couldn't be beat. The home looked exactly like the photos and the back deck was lovely. The walking trails are right across the street and take you down to the lake, it was a beautiful walk.

We had a great stay! House was clean & beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for our week. Owners were easy to communicate with and addressed any issues immediately! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great home in a safe & quiet neighborhood of Toronto. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and the highway.

We had a lovely stay in Liz’s house, the pool was great for the kids, we felt right at home. Liz was very responsive to any queries I had. We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in the area. The piano was a big hit too!

Enjoyed being in the country. The place was very spacious, big kitchen with everything you need & the beds were comfortable. Stephen was a great host, very responsive and being close by, he was able to help with anything you need. The place is well situated between Port Perry and Uxbridge.

this is a beautiful location with nature surrounding you. we enjoyed our stay here, walked the neighborhood and checked out some trails.
