Charming house in the heart of Goring-on-Thames, perfect for riverside walks, cosy pubs and relaxing countryside breaks. The village sits between two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it ideal for holidays or long weekends. Refurbished in 2021 with two new bathrooms, updated kitchen, new flooring and quality furnishings throughout. Shops, pubs, the River Thames and trains to Oxford and London are all within easy walking distance. Direct trains reach London Paddington in under an hour.

The apartment is only a short walk away from Wallingford town centre yet the village offers its own rural charm. The newly refurbished The Bell pub, offers a great selection of ales, wines and food and is within walking distance. IMPORTANT: ******* Check in, from 2 pm. Please do not arrive any earlier without first consulting us AirBnB will implement a hefty service fee for all hosts from 25 April, hence the price jump. We have not increased our rates in 4 years but will now have to sadly.

The Studio: Spacious room on the Thames Path

Simple and stylish, this spacious studio is set back from the road, just off the Thames Path at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. A 2 minute walk from the local pub with regular street food, 5 minute walk from the river and 10 minutes from the shops, restaurants and train station in Pangbourne (direct trains to London in approx. 50 mins). Free parking is available and the room has a patio and outdoor seating area. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided but there is no fridge or kitchen.

A Perfect Pad in Pangbourne!

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

A relaxing retreat close to the Thames.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

Armchairs, folding table and chairs. Small patio area with barbeque and loungers, parking for one car. Rural location with views over open fields. Small village with shop and pub.

On the edge of the village, surrounded by fields with walking/cycling/riding; paddle boarding nearby, and easy road access to Henley, Goring, Oxford & Reading. This newly converted annexe is flexible, spacious, light & airy. Access to all the garden is encouraged and can potentially involve additional camping, guided mountain biking, and personal training.

The Boathouse is a completely private studio apartment with wonderful river views. Furnished to a high standard with luxury bed linens and towels, and fully equipped with everything you could need. The perfect location for the Henley Royal Regatta, Henley Festival and The Rewind Festival Relaxing location that is perfect for watching the world and river go by, but also close enough to the hustle and bustle of the town and it's many restaurants and cafes.

Our annexe is light and spacious and people have told me the photographs do not do it justice!! We are just 2 minutes walk to a lovely local thatched pub, and a couple of minutes drive to other restaurants and dining, public transport and family-friendly activities in the centre of Pangbourne which has a station (trains to London take 35 mins via Reading) It is ideal for couples, business travellers, and families with children.

The mainline station provides access to Oxford, Reading and London Paddington. The historical market town of Wallingford on Thames is approximately 5 miles away and Henley on Thames is 12 miles away.
